It’s only right to introduce myself and my small independent store! I’m June and I’ve been living in Berlin for a little over a year and my hometown is in Dublin! Little ol’ me has been living on that island since I was 5 years old 🇮🇪

As I’ve been away from home and meeting/making other Irish friends in this city, we’ve all shared the same feeling of missing a taste of home.
This small idea I’ve had of bringing our favourite Irish sweets and snacks that are completely hard to replicate or find in the local German grocers has stayed in the back of my head.

FINALLY I decided to pull the trigger and make my idea into a reality. It’s always a nice thought of having a piece of home accessible to you and that’s what I want Checkpoint Milis to be for everyone 🧡

This is a completely independent shop with the help of my family back in Dublin.
