WHS 2023: Pleased to announce that DJUNIVERS ´s creative team is chosen for Monash University ´s media coverage and production at the World Health Summit 2023 in Berlin, as they officially receive handover as hosts of the next regional meeting to be held in Melbourne in 2024.
The World Health Summit 2023 brings together stakeholders from all sectors to discuss the most pressing global health topics under the theme "A Defining Year for Global Health Action" and explore "Learning from COVID-19 for Future Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response" as one of their central topics, amongst others.

🔥 3 night-time headshot portraits for Leander Behal, a filmmaker with a penchant for dark humour, surrealism and magical realism.
Leander is a close friend, former art student of mine, Djunivers collaborator. His short film Taximan recently won the public prize at the prestigious 56 Hofer Filmtage, while he currently studies directing and screenwriting at the FABW Filmakademie Baden-Württenburg in Ludwigsburg.

I recently participated in the International Art Festival & Residency in Eyrarbakki, Iceland 🇮🇸 and contributed to the TV reportage on RUV (The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service) as a DOP in collaboration with Sigrún Runólfsdóttir.
The aim of the festival which took place July 6-23, 2023, is to promote artistic creation in the area, to form connections with other cultures, and to elicit new perspectives of locals and tourists in this seaside community.
“The history and culture of Eyrarbakki and its surrounding district received an entirely new interpretation at the hands of the visiting artists” noted curator Ásta Guðmundsdóttir.
Artists from Poland, Mauritius, France, Germany and Iceland made their works in situ, in spaces around the village, seeking inspiration in the local community.

🍅 😋 Savoring the Thyme : A branding video for private Chef Nicole Mendes. It´s a pleasure to release this short , produced after I met Nicole while filming a wedding in Burgau Portugal where she was hired as Chef. We had a few shots of her cooking, and combining this with material from her own archive after the event, we were able to produce a convincing portrait of her as an inspired and energetic international private chef.
Nicole Mendes is an International Traveling Chef. Originally from Boston MA. A graduate of Johnson & Wales and Umass Amherst. With degrees in Culinary Arts, Sustainable Farming & Business she spent the past 7 years working professionally in some of the most prestigious kitchens throughout Boston such as Rialto & O Ya.
