Why do we care?
Because the way we shop is broken — and we’re done pretending it’s fine.

We’re here to challenge the giants, expose greenwashing, and build a platform that puts power back in the hands of people who actually give a damn.
We are UpHavin, a platform for independent brands where every product tells a real story.

Crafted with care, made with fair materials, and rooted in local markets and human hands.

No factories hiding behind buzzwords, just authenticity, craftsmanship, and people who believe business can be done differently.

This isn’t just business, it’s a fight for fairness, visibility, and a future that isn’t built on exploitation.

These are our reasons. What’s yours? 👇

Honestly? I’m tired of pretending that choosing between two billionaires counts as freedom. Real choice looks different, it looks like reclaiming power from big corporations and placing it back into the hands of ordinary people with dreams, bills and passion.

It means talking openly about sustainability, diversity, and inclusion without worrying about what’s trending or who’s bored of hearing it.

That’s why I started UpHavin. Every purchase is a chance to choose wisely.

Well start wondering then, because those few euros are supporting shady stuff.

Love and sustainability? Turns out, some of the biggest environmental efforts weren’t solo missions—they were partnerships in every sense of the word.

Katia & Maurice Krafft:
These two volcanologists didn’t do candlelit dinners; they did lava-lit expeditions. Katia and Maurice spent their lives filming and studying eruptions, getting dangerously close for the perfect shot. Their relationship was built on adrenaline and scientific obsession—right up until their final mission, where they tragically lost their lives to a volcanic eruption in 1991. If that’s not commitment to the cause, what is?

David Buckel & Terry Kaelber:
Buckel was a prominent lawyer fighting for LGBTQ+ rights before turning his focus to environmental justice. With Terry, his partner in life and activism, he led community composting initiatives in NY. Buckel’s final act—a self-immolation in protest of fossil fuels, was a stark symbol of the urgency he felt for climate action.

David & Jane Attenborough:
David's voice might be the most famous in environmental storytelling, but behind the scenes, Jane kept him grounded. Fun fact? Despite traveling the world, Attenborough once said his biggest regret was not spending more time with Jane before she passed.

Pinar & So Sinopoulos-Lloyd:
They built Q***r Nature, a project that redefines who belongs in outdoor spaces. As an Indigenous and nonbinary couple, they create wilderness education programs that make survival skills, tracking, and ecological knowledge accessible to q***r communities.

Katharine Hayhoe & Andrew Farley:
When you think of climate science, you probably don’t think of Texas megachurches. But that’s exactly where a climate scientist and a pastor, found common ground. Instead of arguing, they proved that climate action and faith aren’t mutually exclusive.

Al & Tipper Gore:
Al put climate change on the stage, and Tipper was by his side throughout his political career. But turns out, climate advocacy is an all-consuming job. After 40 years together, the couple split, citing (among other things) the demands of Al’s work.

Love it’s also about late-night debates, shared missions, and fighting for a common cause, together.
