New test in a Mars-like environment inside Germany's highest mountain 🪐 🛰️⛰️ Key challenges of future Mars missions were replicated in a cave inside the "Zugspitze" mountain as part of the VaMEx3-MarsSymphony project. Caves on Mars are prime targets for exploration because they offer shelter from radiation and extreme temperatures. Even in such a constrained environment, our XLink once again demonstrated stable, mission-ready performance. We would like to thank our partners from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, who integrated our innovative XLink platform into the unified VaMEx-3 MarsSymphony system.

Radiation resilience verified ☢️🌌 End of last year, our GbE Space Switch (first engineering models now available) successfully completed the Total Ionizing Dose (TID) test as part of its environmental qualification at an accredited facility. Our hardware passed without degradation, confirming its capability to endure the radiation levels expected in demanding mission environments. This marks an important step on the path to full space qualification. Stay tuned for more test updates.
