The perfect sunset sitting spot. I’ve been unsure whether I like the colours that Ektar 100 produces, it’s been pretty hit or miss so far for me. But I am absolutely obsessed with how the tones in this shot turned out. Taken towards the end of my coastal hike in Wilson’s Promontory (Yiruk/Wamoon) Victoria, Australia.

Our cosy little nook. From when the sun was much lower in the sky last Autumn, creating the most perfect light.

Just a photo of a tree at sunrise I really liked in Victoria, Australia. Sunrise gradients always get me.

Forever obsessed with alpine wildflowers. There were soooo many on this trek, every day marvelling at the amount flowers and butterflies everywhere. My SD card is full of photos of them

So many mountains and glaciers to be seen from this trek. Landscapes and ice like this isn’t exactly something readily accessible in Australia, so I’m always completely in awe. Could sit and watch the clouds dance and the sun hit the peaks all day. Or in this case, hide behind

Quiet moments with the gulls at Mermaid Beach, from my trip home to Australia earlier this year.
Taken with the Olympus Mju on Adox Color Mission. Really loved how the pastel tones came out with this film stock

Always searching for leading lines when hiking, especially loved this one from the first day of our TMB trek through the wildflowers.

Above the clouds
I can’t describe how happy I am with these photos. I loved all my digital ones, and now I love all the film ones even more. Absolutely some of my best work yet
Taken on the Olympus Mju I with Kodak Portra 400, developed and scanned

Moody scenes in Brisbane; from a little sunset stroll during my visit home earlier this year.
The first is the quintessential back porch steps of a Queenslander cottage. These images represent parts of home to me. I felt like they deserve to be shared instead of sitting forever on my hard drive.
Taken on the Olympus Mju I. Can’t remember the film stock but assume either Kodak Ektar or Ultramax.

From the mighty little Olympus Mju I on Kodak Portra 400. Developed and scanned . So so glad I found replacement batteries for her halfway through an overland trek
