By using sequence reset, the sequences stay synchronized to your chosen quantization time. Running multiple sequences and playing with different lengths creates evolving harmonic patterns and interesting musical interactions while keeping a layer of predictability.

Another example of the new Saga mode, our take on the concept of stage sequencing. Here two instances of Saga create a beautiful counterpoint, with the possibility to evolve the phrasing by just changing a step duration.

The new Random special function of E16

SAGA is a new mode featured in Nigràn 2.0
It is our take on stage sequencing, a way of composing music without the 16 step bar boundary.
We went full in and made it polyphonic: here you can see how it works with chords and accumulators.

With the new Saga Mode, composition is no longer bound to the bar grid. Start from a simple melodic idea, then reshape note lengths to discover unexpected phrasing that can take your music in entirely new directions. Saga is included in the new Nigrán 20 firmware.
