Beate, Hannah, and Carolina are feeling honored to have the opportunity to present on Prosocial at the ACBS World Conference in vibrant New Orleans! 🌍✨
It was inspiring to connect with like-minded clinicians, researchers, and change-makers who are passionate about using contextual behavioral science to promote cooperation, compassion, and effective group functioning.
Sharing how the Prosocial process has guided our work in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 through commit and act and now in Colombia 🇨🇴 through our “Colombia Project”hopefully will inspire others to join or create their own projects. Prosocial can support communities, teams, and organizations in working more collaboratively—and seeing the excitement around these tools. It was truly energizing. 💫
Grateful to be part of this incredible community! 💛

Honoring Beate Ebert’s Dedication
Beate Ebert, a passionate psychologist and human rights advocate from Aschaffenburg, Germany, has devoted more than 15 years to supporting girls and women in Sierra Leone. Through her organization, she trains local professionals to address the deep wounds caused by violence and trauma—offering not only psychological care but also safety, dignity, and legal support to those most vulnerable.
In recognition of her tireless work, Beate was honored with the 7th Engagement Award by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)—a prestigious prize celebrating exceptional volunteer commitment to global justice and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her work has changed thousands of lives—and continues to inspire hope where it is most needed.
Help us congratulate her by posting a comment!

Back home, it still feels a bit surreal:
Federal Minister Alabali-Radovan awarded me a prize for my long-standing volunteer work in Sierra Leone – selected from 100 nominations!
Thank you to everyone who has been part of Commit and Act—in Germany, Sierra Leone, Spain, UK, Ireland, USA—and to our amazing partners and donors: One Day, German Doctors, Die Sternsinger, the City of Aschaffenburg, ACBS, DGKV, and Landmark Worldwide, where my vision was born many years ago:
“All human beings experience their natural love, relatedness, and passion for each other’s greatness.”
Together we’ve reached nearly half a million people—through ACT and Prosocial training, protecting girls, empowering women and men, reducing violence, preventing FGM, farming opportunities for the hungry, building a school and a church, and installing solar panels.
Let’s keep building futures—right where people are. 🌍❤️
