It is exactly this kind of day...

For Belize it is NOW or NEVER. Murder of another American tourist close to Benque will be costly. Doesn't matter if the murderer was Belizean or Guatemalan citizen. We're talking about security in Belize for tourists. Killing a woman is a terrible sin. But killing a journalist is for tourism something like multiplying the single murder by ten.

You, Belizean people, don't blame only your government. You're the ones who are voting. You're the ones that can bring some corrupted politicians down. You're the ones to shout out loud for the changes. You're the ones to change Belize. You're the ones to watch people around carefully and to be "on guard", contacting police anytime necessary. Because if you won't, tourists will stop coming and you will lose a LOT OF jobs.

Criminality is on rise since 2013. And maybe long before. As a non-belizean citizen I'm worried to promote Belize now as I feel a rensponsibility. This project made hundreds of people to go to Belize. Giving advices, basic info, contacts and many more. Sincerely, I'm the biggest fan of Belize outside of your country you may ever meet. But something has to be made in your country. Otherwise this project is losing any sense.

This is serious. Belize is on edge. You've started to ignore murders because there is just a too much of them happening around. If this was to continue without any change, you're going to be agricultural country only again. Economy will fall down and hundreds if not thousands of people will go bankrupt.

This is a twilight of Belizean tourism. Choice is yours. ACT or CLOSE YOUR EYES.
