We spent the first weekend of May in Uherský Brod, where we took part in organizing a historical battle reenactment of the conflict that took place there in the second half of the 15th century between Jiří of Poděbrady and Matthias Corvinus.

Besides the battle itself, we also presented various medieval crafts and everyday life to visitors. The whole event had an amazing atmosphere — lots of great people, history, craftsmanship, and fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we really enjoyed being part of it and many thanks to .komenskeho.uhersky.brod ❤️

DOUBLE THE TROUBLE 👌

Once again, we got up to some mischief this weekend at the one and only amazing -supported — and overall the best — ❤️

Most of the time, we spent portraying the noble , but let’s be honest: the gear is a much better fit for an evening of drinking 💪

We had an amazing time with all the wonderful guests who visited our camp, as well as with old friends and everyone involved in making this glorious event happen — especially ❤️

The cursed blue dress 🎃

The blue dress you see in the first photo is about two years old now. I’ve worn it to at least three events, yet somehow this one close-up is the only decent photo I have of it — and that’s about it.

I lowkey hate that, especially since this project is a recreation of a late 15th-century dress from the Swiss Schilling Chronicles. The distinctive sleeves aren’t very common in our reenactment scene, so I was really excited to bring this style back to life 👌

Anyway, here’s hoping this season will be a bit more fruitful 😅

Just a few more memories from our 2025 👌

Hopefully, in 2027 we’ll bring even more people and ideas together—and truly bring the concept of a 15th-century tournament as a complex social event to life❤️

So we were in London couple weeks ago.

Coincidence has it, that it was the very same weekend when .maxwell.1481 held their Steel & Spurs event in quite nearby Bracknell. Opportunity we could not have left pass unnoticed, and everyone was really kind and accepting. Time well spent on horseback! ❤️

I don’t have any official photos from the event yet, but I’m way too excited not to share my latest project — an Aen Elle sorceress dress I’ve been working on since January 26.

The first ideas started forming in late 2025, when I discussed the concept with my amazing seamstress . We decided to prepare the base of the costume for the January Witcher Ball, with the final layers coming together during spring 2026, so it will be fully ready for in May.

What you see here is the first basic layer — silk dupioni and organza from . The coat and the “upper vest” are currently in the making, and there will also be additional decoration on the corset, likely some different jewelry and details.

Either way, I’m incredibly excited about this one. It’s a full fantasy costume, and I haven’t created anything like this in a long time ❤️
