Have you ever visited this church? If not, you really need to fix that! 😉 We call it Prague's Sistine Chapel because it has huge dome decorated with magnificent ceiling paintings. When you step inside, you're literally overwhelmed by the beauty-lots of gold, silver, marble, and statues od saints. I call it a kind of medieval marketing trick to attract Protestants to Catholic churches 😂 It's probably the most beautiful Baroque church in Prague.

Check the opening hours on website (usually 9 a.m - 5 p.m). Admission for adults is 150 CZK (discounts for seniors and students, free for kids under 10)

KIDS' TOURS 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Tours with kids are always a challenge for me. I love kids so much—they’re so inquisitive and spontaneous! But keeping their attention and making sure they don’t get bored can be tough. That makes it all the more rewarding when, at the end, you see that the effort paid off and that they had fun and were excited. A great day with the Ramirez family! Thank you! 😘

Are you standing by the Prague Astronomical Clock and craving something sweet? You probably wouldn’t expect it, but at a restaurant with the unusual name 420 ( = the Czech Republic’s phone area code), there’s a counter where you can buy traditional Czech pastries "koláče" or kolachies —baked right here in the Gothic basement—at a very good price! You can see the basement on your way to the restroom. From the outside, it’s the pink house right across from the Astronomical Clock—the House of the Red Fox. You’ll see that fox on the wall inside. 😉 By the way, the restaurant is run by Michelin-starred chef Radek Kašpárek and is definitely worth a visit! 😉 Dobrou chuť! 😋

💮 Have you ever been inside the Municipal House? 💮

So much beauty in one place! It’s the work of the best Czech artists of the early 20th century. A real treat, especially for Art Nouveau lovers! The famous Art Nouveau painter Alfons Mucha painted one of the halls with motifs from Czech history. It’s definitely worth a visit!

🇧🇷👖 The Infant Jesus of Prague is wearing a Brazilian denim dress until the end of August!

The dress was designed by Cristina P. Galguer, who said: “I used denim to make the outfit because it’s a common part of the thriving clothing industry in our city. Knitting and crocheting represent the artisans who transform yarn into beautiful works of art. The lace pays homage to our Brazil, which draws its strength from its lace-makers. The colors of the garments represent the colors of the flag of our city, São João Nepomuceno, rendered in soft tones. The cross of the parish church of São João Nepomuceno is also incorporated. The five stars mark the place where the body of Saint John of Nepomuk was found, as well as his birthplace, the town of Nepomuk...”

✡️ Jewish Town 🕎 - oldest functioning synagogue in the world, a cemetery with 12,000 old tombstones, Prague's Alhambra, clock that goes bacward, synagogue whose walls are decorated with nearly 80,000 names of Bohemian and Moravian Jews murdered during WW II. ... all this and much more can be seen here.

🍛🍺 U Pivrnce Hradčany - my secret spot to grab a bite to eat at Prague Castle 🤫

A Hidden Garden at Prague Castle! If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a cup of specialty coffee and a dessert—or perhaps some soup or a sandwich—visit Café Šternberk Mezi Řádky in the Sternberg Palace, and then take a stroll through this oasis of tranquility: the Sternberg Palace Garden. The entrance is on Hradčanské Square, heading toward the National Gallery.

Sometimes it’s worth venturing a little way from the city center. Vnitroblok is an amazing place, especially for street art lovers. You’ll be greeted by beautiful murals, and inside you can enjoy fantastic food made from fresh, high-quality ingredients or amazing desserts. Of course, they also serve specialty coffee. The complex includes a bakery with farm-fresh products, a bar, and a pub. In the evening, they make fresh pizza here. Check out their daily lunch and dinner menus on their website!
