Message by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the Occasion of the First Anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

"Marka-e-Haq is a day to bow in gratitude before Allah Almighty for His countless blessings upon us. Today, we commemorate Pakistan’s valiant stand in adversity and the crushing defeat we inflicted on the enemy. The nation pays tribute to its martyrs, their families, and the ghazis who stood like a steel wall to defend their homeland. The well-coordinated and synchronized response of our forces across land, sea, air, and cyber domains established Pakistan as an invincible nation. Marka-e-Haq is etched in history as an epic feat of achieving overwhelming dominance over an enemy bent on unprovoked aggression. Pakistan clearly manifested its desire for peace while re-establishing deterrence and safeguarding its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. We also remain steadfast in our efforts to root out “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan” and take the fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion. No story of Pakistan is complete without Kashmir, which remains the unfinished agenda of the subcontinent’s partition. Strategic stability in South Asia, without the resolution of the Kashmir issue, will remain a distant dream; the issue needs to be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Today, Pakistan is recognized as a responsible nation that not only knows how to defend itself but has also emerged as a guarantor of global peace and stability. Pakistan’s pivotal role as a key mediator during the ongoing US-Iran conflict, and our efforts to seek an end to violence, have earned worldwide acknowledgement. Pakistan remains committed to its efforts aimed at the peaceful resolution of the conflict."

The Mission organized a panel discussion on Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a great leader, which was attended by students from various educational institutions, including Charles University.
Documentary films on the life and achievements of Quaid-e-Azam were also screened on the occasion.

Ambassador Shehryar Akbar Khan visited Embassy of Algeria in Prague to sign condolence book on the sad passing of former President Liamine Zeroual.

Ambassador Shehryar Akbar Khan held a meeting with Ms. Vladimíra Hirsh, Head of the South and South-East Asia Unit, Department of Asia & Pacific. Discussions revolved around various aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Shehryar Akbar Khan met with Mr. Tomáš Kuchta, Director General (Economic and Science Diplomacy) at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 25 March 2025. Discussions revolved around strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of economic and science diplomacy.

Ambassador Shehryar Akbar Khan called on Deputy Foreign Minister Ms. Marie Chatardová on 27 March 2026 and discussed bilateral relations.

Ambassador Shehryar Akber Khan called on H.E. Senator Pavel Fischer, Chairman of Committee on Foreign Affairs & Defence. Both sides discussed avenues of cooperation in various fields.
