Since the weather forecast wasn’t looking too clever, we decided to cut the trek short and head to Ücia Pederü.

We grabbed our car and drove back to camp to pick up our gear. We checked out and found a hotel nearby.

We completely binned off the last part of the hike to Lago di Braies — I knew it’d be packed with tourists anyway, and I wasn’t up for getting soaked again.
