➕Cottage in Vysočina 🌓

The farmhouse is located in the gently rolling landscape of the Vysočina region. Its construction began around 1820 and was completed towards the end of the 19th century. The cottage faces the access road with a stone wall and wooden barn gates. Behind it stands the house, positioned at the edge of the plot with views of the adjacent forest.

The investor’s family purchased the property in 1993 and gradually began restoring the exterior themselves. In 2020, the interior of the ground floor was renovated. The owners subsequently commissioned our studio to undertake the conversion of the upper floor, which offers a generous usable area.

Statek se nachází v mírně kopcovité krajině Vysočiny. Jeho stavba začala kolem roku 1820 a dokončena byla na konci 19. století. Dnešní chalupa čelí příjezdové silnici kamennou zdí s dřevěnými vraty do stodoly. Za ní se ukrývá objekt situovaný na okraji pozemku s výhledem do přilehlého lesa.

Rodina investora nemovitost koupila v roce 1993 a postupně začala vlastními silami zvelebovat exteriér domu. V roce 2020 proběhla rekonstrukce interiéru prvního patra. Majitelé následně oslovili náš ateliér, aby se ujal přestavby druhého patra s rozsáhlou užitnou plochou.

➕Cottage in Vysočina 🌖

The interior is divided both spatially and atmospherically into two zones. The private area comprises a bedroom and dressing space in dark tones. The guest rooms, conceived in a hotel-like format, are lighter and more restrained. The zones are connected by a central social space with a bar, seating area, and workspace.

Interiér je rozdělen dispozičně i náladou na dvě části. Soukromou zónu tvoří ložnice a šatna v tmavých odstínech. Pokoje pro hosty v hotelovém formátu jsou naopak světlejší a střídmější. Obě zóny propojuje centrální společenská místnost s barem, sezením a pracovním koutem.

➕Cottage in Vysočina 🌑

The dominant material is black solid granite, used in the bathroom and as a bar table that transitions seamlessly into the worktop beneath the sloped roof. The original stone wall remains an exposed feature of the interior.

Craftsmanship is evident, for example, in the sliding door at the staircase, whose edge follows the uneven surface of the stone wall. The attic atmosphere is further shaped by indirect lighting—a combination of lamps, reflected light, and integrated LED strips enabling adjustments in both intensity and character.

Dominantním materiálem je černá masivní žula, použitá v koupelně nebo jako barový stůl. Ten plynule přechází do pracovní desky až ke zkosené střeše. Původní kamenná stěna zůstává přiznaným prvkem interiéru.

Detail zpracování je patrný například u posuvných dveří na schodišti, jejichž hrana kopíruje nerovný povrch kamenné stěny. Atmosféru podkroví dotváří nepřímé osvětlení – kombinace lamp, odrazů a integrovaných LED pásků umožňuje měnit intenzitu i charakter světla.

➕Cottage in Vysočina 🌒

The attic alterations allowed us to insert new windows into the original openings in the stone wall and bring daylight deep into the layout. Light enters the space more indirectly, reinforcing the calm atmosphere. As a result of the raised floor, the windows are partially recessed in relation to the interior floor level, revealing only their upper frames from inside. Added shutters allow for gentle regulation of privacy, security, and the degree of connection to the surrounding landscape.

Úpravy podkroví nám umožnily osadit původní otvory v kamenné stěně novými okny a přivést denní světlo hluboko do dispozice. Světlo tak vstupuje do prostoru spíše nepřímo a podporuje klidnou atmosféru. Zvýšením podlahy jsou okna vůči zemi částečně zapuštěná a v místnosti jsou vidět pouze horní rámy. Doplněnými okenicemi lze citlivě regulovat soukromí, pocit bezpečí i míru propojení s okolní krajinou.

➕Cottage in Vysočina 🌒

The renovation of a cottage in the Vysočina region focused on the interior transformation of the attic. The house’s secluded location at the edge of a forest became a key value for the investor, who lives in the capital and was seeking a place of rest for family and friends. The result is a space with an intimate atmosphere shaped in part by atypical dark tones, serving as a retreat from the bustling city.

Přestavba chalupy na Vysočině se soustředila na interiérové úpravy podkroví. Umístění domu na samotě u lesa se stalo výchozí hodnotou pro investora žijícího v hlavním městě, který hledal odpočinkové místo pro svou rodinu i přátele. Vznikl prostor s intimní atmosférou tvořenou z části atypickými tmavými tóny, který slouží jako útočiště před rušnou metropolí.

➕Petra + Kateřina at the Loft Apartment in Nusle ☁️

The interior of one of the loft apartments in the residential building , which we renovated last year, offered both the advantage of our familiarity with the space and an opportunity to further develop the building’s original concept. Here, too, we layer new elements onto the existing structure, working with natural light and purposeful use of color.

Interiér jednoho z podkrovních bytů činžovního domu , který jsme v loňském roce rekonstruovali, pro nás bylo výhodou v jeho znalosti i příležitostí rozvinout původní koncept domu. I tady vrstvíme nové prvky na původní strukturu, pracujeme s přirozeným osvětlením a účelovou barevností.

➕Bathroom of the Loft Apartment in Nusle ☁️

The entrance to the bathroom is framed by custom furniture that flows seamlessly from the rest of the interior. Inside, the space comes to life with a vanity island with a stone washbasin and practical storage drawers. The cashmere-toned room is completed by a wall mirror by , adorned with aluminum castings mounted on its upper edge.

Průchod do koupelny je rámován nábytkem, který plynule navazuje na zbytek interiéru. Uvnitř prostor ožívá díky ostrůvku s kamenným umyvadlem a praktickými úložnými šuplíky. Celou kašmírově laděnou místnost završuje nástěnné zrcadlo od s hliníkovými odlitky osazenými na jeho vrchu.

➕Bedroom and Work Area at the Loft Apartment in Nusle ☁️

On the left side, there’s a cozy workspace featuring a red tabletop and a chair by .eu, complemented by abstract cloud rugs from and an armchair by for . On the opposite side, a mirrored cabinet volume discreetly conceals a separate bedroom. The headboard is a piece of embroidered satin artwork by , depicting a contemporary Venus. The room is completed with built-in wardrobes that follow the line of the sloped roof.

Po levé straně se nachází menší pracovní zákoutí s červenou deskou a židlí .eu, doplněné o koberce abstraktních mraků a křeslo pro . Na opačné straně umístěná skříň se zrcadlovou stěnou nenápadně skrývá oddělenou ložnici. Čelo postele tvoří dílo z vyšívaného saténu od umělkyně zachycující novodobou Venuši. Místnost doplňují vestavěné skříně, které kopírují linku zkosené střechy.

➕Designers in the Loft Apartment in Nusle ☁️

The sloped walls of the loft apartment did not allow enough space for displaying artworks, so we decided to integrate the pieces directly into the interior itself. We always strive to involve not only Czech manufacturers but above all young local creators like and . Thanks to the openness of the owners, several custom-made art pieces were created specifically for this apartment.

Zkosené stěny podkrovního bytu neumožňovaly dostatek prostoru pro prezentaci uměleckých děl, a proto nás napadlo díla integrovat přímo do interiéru. Vždy se snažíme zapojit nejen české výrobce, ale především mladé lokální tvůrce jako jsou Elis Monsport nebo Lucie Králík Rosická. Díky otevřenosti majitelů pro tento byt vzniklo hned několik uměleckých objektů na míru.

PF 2025➕1

Rok 2025 pro nás byl o projektech napříč různými formami a měřítky – od prosvětleného Bytu pro malířku přes Podkrovní byt v Nuslích s díly českých tvůrců a Interiéry vil developerské zástavby v Záběhlicích až po intimní Chalupu na Vysočině.

Děkujeme za spolupráci a důvěru, které nám umožnily tyto projekty realizovat. Přejeme hezké svátky a nový rok plný PLUSů.
