Our final day in Buchov has come to an end. We spent the day reflecting on our journey and planning how to disseminate our learnings back in our countries. It has been an intense week with a lot of emotions, building connections, and personal growth.

Day 6 in Buchov - we’re back after a day of self care. It was a very intensive day. We were learning more about our boundaries and practising how to protect them.

Practice, practice, practice - we’ve done that a lot!

Full in the training on safeguarding practices right now. Majority of youth workers don’t know what to do and don’t feel confident to intervene in case of breach of trust, bodily autonomy, or cases of harassment. It’s time to change the narrative and we are doing so today. Thanks to Erasmus+ and our partners.

We brought a courtroom to the venue to carry out a mock trial on relevant topics regarding the project, our participants continue to bond and establish connections.

Today is Day-2 in the Youth Guard training and the sun decided to be part of the adventure.

They say that “Knowledge is the key to success” so be ready to have a whole bunch of keys after D-7.

What an incredible start to our journey! Today, we delved into the essentials of primary prevention, setting the foundation for a transformative experience. We kicked off by getting to know each other little more, building connections that will strengthen our support systems throughout this training and beyond. 🤝 For the evening we let our creativity flow with a fun and meaningful activity involving sugar cubes. Stay tuned for more updates.

We are staring our first training under Care Hub. As usually we let participants develop their creative name tags right after arrival. This activity is both starter yeast for the imagination and a gentle icebreaker as people chat while passing each other scissors and glue. In this youth exchange project we want to hear from you - what are your experiences of being in different relationships? How can your experience help others? What else is out there to help you build better and healthier relationships with your families, friends, love interest, peers, communities?

🧘🏽‍♀️ Training Course on Integrating Yoga into Youth Work

Youth from marginalized groups face challenges in transitioning to adulthood due to biases and stereotypes. As youth workers, our own biases can hinder our ability to support them. ‼️

Soulmerge aims to address this issue by introducing yoga philosophy and methodology into European youth work. It will provide tools to advocate for all young people, regardless of their background or identity.

We will explore how to:
1️⃣ Integrate yoga, breathing techniques, and other related practices in youth work,
2️⃣ Address biases and stereotypes in youth work,
3️⃣ Develop innovative approaches to support marginalized youth,
4️⃣ Promote inclusive practices,
5️⃣ Enhance wellbeing.
