Ապրիլի 3-ին ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Հովակիմյանը հանդիպում ունեցավ Եվրոպական Խորհրդարանի չեխ պատգամավոր Տոմաշ Զդեխովսկիի հետ: Քննարկվեցին Չեխիայի և Հայաստանի միջև երկկողմ հարաբերությունների լայն օրակարգը, ՀՀ-ԵՄ գործընկերության զարգացումը, տարածաշրջանային և միջազգային անվտանգությանն առնչվող հարցերը:
ՀՀ դեսպանը եվրապատգամավորին ներկայացրեց Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ գործողությունները, Լաչինի միջանցքի ապօրինի արգելափակման հետևանքով ստեղծված հումանիտար ճգնաժամը, Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական կեցվածքը: Կարևորվեցին Հայաստանում ԵՄ քաղաքացիական մշտադիտարկման առաքելության տեղակայումը և ԼՂ-ում Ադրբեջանի կողմից էթնիկ զտումների քաղաքականության կանխման հրամայականը:

On April 3, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian had a meeting with Tomáš Zdechovský, Member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic. The broad agenda of bilateral relations between the Czechia and Armenia, the development of the Armenia-EU partnership, issues related to the regional and international security were discussed.
The Ambassador presented to the European MP the aggressive actions of Azerbaijan towards Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, the humanitarian crisis created as a result of the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor, and the destructive actions of Azerbaijan. The deployment of the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia and the imperative to prevent the policy of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh were highlighted.
