PULSE 2026: Future in Every Beat 🩺✨
What started as an idea turned into a room full of driven, passionate medical students coming together to learn, grow, and push themselves beyond the classroom.
From hands-on workshops in suturing, airway management, TAVI, and ultrasound, to engaging lectures and meaningful conversations, every moment was built around one goal: bridging the gap between theory and real clinical experience.
Seeing over 100 students from across the Czech Republic come together, support each other, and fully immerse themselves in learning was something truly special.
This conference was not just about skills, it was about:
• stepping out of comfort zones
• connecting with like-minded individuals
• learning from experienced doctors
• and taking one step closer to the kind of doctors we aspire to become
None of this would have been possible without the incredible effort of our team, collaborators, speakers, and every single participant who showed up with energy and enthusiasm.🫀

In collaboration with ISU, we’re excited to host Research Skills 101 🧬
A session to help you get more comfortable with research, from reading and understanding papers to starting your own work and presenting it.
This session is perfect for anyone looking to get started with research, including current SVOC participants.
The lecture will be given by Saman Ardebili, a 5th year student at LFHK, with multiple first-author abstracts at international conferences and co-authorship in peer-reviewed publications.

Led by Dr. Kully Sandhu, Coronary & Structural Interventional Cardiologist at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, this session will introduce the fundamentals of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and interventional cardiology!
Participants will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with high-fidelity TAVI simulators, made possible thanks to Edwards Lifesciences🕺
