There were in recent days, growing concerns about the use of by people for the promotion of racism and hate.
It is above all known the crusade led by , against Mark Zuckerberg and the tolerance of about an antisemitic post written by anonymous members.
This is always going to ve a dispute between freedom of speech and protection of privacy on a side, and the right to defend and protect people from the violence verbal and sometimes physical on the other side.
On my account, there is any way one more problem.
Some people are using like a personal Peep Show.
They do not use their picture in their profile; they do not post or comment. Seldom they " come out " with some likes.
" But they do not hurt anyone ".
Yes, they do. They are the silent promoters of the shadow where most of the miserables ( the haters, the racists, the intolerant ) are seeding and growing.
If you ask me, what regulation to add in Social Media, I would say " commitment to a minimal activity ".
I believe if you join a group of any sort in real life, someone will ask you.. " and you? What do you think? What do you have to say " and you are committed to reply unless you are there to watch like your life is a perennial peep show.
