Last Friday lunch time we enjoyed an introduction by RUBIKON Centrum, a Czech non-profit non-governmental organisation which has been helping people who have decided to cross their criminal past and has been supporting their families since 1994. They have played a vital role in setting up Probační a mediační služba (Probation and Mediation Service) and in the introduction of alternative sentences for offenders. Great to be supporting this cause with the CMS Social Impact Fund.

Another Friday, another team lunch (albeit from our desks) and another presentation of a charity that has recently received a grant from the CMS Social Impact Fund. This week we learned about the It people and its project Počítače dětem, which has been crucial in ensuring children could join home schooling session during lock down by providing computers to those families that most needed them. Great and very important work indeed!

The Covid-19 situation forced us back to our desk for our Friday team lunches. We used our break to kick off a series of four presentations of Czech charities that have recently been awarded grants by the CMS Social Impact Fund. This week Nadace Via presented three “Living Community” projects which support local communities across the Czech Republic towards which funds from the CMS Foundation will be flowing. Thank you for the interesting presentation – it’s great to see grants from the Fund being put to such a good use!

One picture says more than a 1000 words... Always great to come to the office in the morning having skipped breakfast and finding we're running a bake sale to raise funds for Lékaři bez hranic / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). What a better way to start the day?

Proud that CMS Prague is an active supporter of Letokruh.eu, a Czech organisation giving people of mature age the opportunity to pass on experience, time and energy to others by participating in a wide range of voluntary activities! Kudos to our local CSR team too!

Started this summer, our Friday full office lunches remain a great moment each week to catch up with each other and try some new cuisine. This week's Asian lunch was brought to us by Tamarind Tree. Weekend is just around the corner!
