**This might be the most beautiful library in the world 📚✨**

Hidden in the heart of Prague lies a place that feels straight out of a movie, the Klementinum Baroque Library, often considered one of the most beautiful library in the world, if not the most beautiful.

The moment you step inside — you’re surrounded by towering bookshelves, ancient globes, and a ceiling covered in breathtaking frescoes.

It doesn’t feel like a library…
👉 It feels like a portal to another century.

💭 What makes it even more fascinating:
* 📖 Books dating back hundreds of years
* 🌍 Intricately detailed globes from the Age of Exploration
* 🎨 A ceiling that tells stories through art

And the craziest part?

👉 You can’t just walk around freely — you view it from the entrance… which somehow makes it feel even more exclusive.

💡 Travel tip:
Entry is ONLY via guided tour — book weeks in advance and combine it with the Astronomical Tower for one of the best views in Prague.

**Prague hits different from the water at sunset 🌅🚤**

As the sun slowly dipped behind the city, I found myself drifting along the Vltava River...

And honestly — this might be the most magical way to see Prague.

The sky turns golden,
the lights begin to glow,
and suddenly the entire city feels like a movie set 🎬

Gliding past:
🌉 Charles Bridge
🏰 Prague Castle
🌆 The Old Town skyline

…all reflected perfectly in the water.

👉 It’s calm, it’s quiet, and for a moment — the crowds disappear.

💭 Worth it?

✔️ YES — especially if it’s your first time in Prague
✔️ Perfect for sunset photos & relaxed vibes
❗ Food on board is average — go for the views, not the dinner

💡 Travel tip:
Book a sunset or evening cruise (not daytime) — that’s when Prague truly shines.

**This might be Prague’s most Instagram-famous snack… is it worth it? 🤔🍦**

Walking through Old Town Square, you’ll smell it before you see it…

Fresh dough, sugar, cinnamon — slowly roasting over an open flame 🔥

That’s the famous **Trdelník** (aka “chimney cake”).

Golden, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside…
and sometimes stuffed with ice cream, Nutella, or fruit.

Sounds perfect, right?

👉 But here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:
This “Prague classic” isn’t actually traditional Czech food 😅
It's originated in Hungary and made famous in Czech as a tourist favourite that became iconic.

💭 So… should you try it?
✔️ Absolutely yes — at least once (it smells too good to ignore!)

💡 Travel tip:
Skip the first stall you see in crowded areas — walk a bit further for better quality and lower prices.

**This might be the most underrated part of Prague 🚇**

Everyone talks about castles and bridges… but the Prague Metro deserves just as much attention.

At first, it feels simple.
But then you step onto one of those super long escalators…
and it feels like you’re descending into another world. In fact Europe's longest escalator is in the Namesti Miru station at 53m long!

What surprised me:
* 🚇 Trains are fast, clean, and always on time.
* 🧭 Only 3 lines (A, B, C) - super easy to navigate
* 🧼 Stations are spotless (compared to many European metros 👀)

And the best part?

👉 It connects you to *everything* —
Old Town, Prague Castle, local neighbourhoods… all within minutes.

💭 Pro tip most tourists miss:
Buy a 24-hour or 72-hour pass on the PID Litacka mobile app - it covers metro, trams, and buses. Way cheaper and hassle-free. No need to tap on and off. You just need to show the mobile ticket on the phone if an inspector asks.

💡 Travel tip:
Stand on the **right side of escalators** — locals take this seriously 😅

**This is not just a bridge… it’s a walk through history 🌉**

Built in the 1300s, Charles Brdige has seen kings, wars, and centuries of stories - and today… it’s still alive.

Lined with 30 stunning statues, every step feels like you’re walking through an open-air museum.

But here’s the magic 👇

🌅 Go at sunrise — almost empty, peaceful, unreal
🌃 Go at night — glowing lights, reflections on the river
🚶‍♂️ Go anytime — and you’ll feel the soul of Prague

💭 Fun fact:
Legend says eggs were mixed into the mortar to make the bridge stronger. There's an anual egg parade over the bridge to celebrate this 🥚🥚🥚.

💡 Travel tip:
Start from Old Town side early morning, walk slowly, and don’t rush — this place is meant to be FELT, not just seen.

**Every hour… the crowd goes silent ⏳**

Standing in the middle of Old Town Square, I found myself staring up at the **Prague Astronomical Clock** — one of the oldest working clocks in the world.

And then it starts…
The tiny windows open,
the Apostles appear one by one,
and the whole square pauses for a 600-year-old performance.

But here’s what most people don’t realise 👇
This isn’t just a clock.
It tracks:
🌞 Time
🌙 The position of the sun and moon
⭐ Zodiac signs

A medieval masterpiece… still ticking since 1410.

💭 Dark legend:
It’s said the clockmaker was blinded so he could never recreate it anywhere else.

💡 Travel tip:
Arrive 10–15 minutes before the hour to get a good spot — it gets packed fast.
For a better view (and fewer crowds), go early morning or late evening.

**You only get 15 minutes… but it stays with you forever.**

Inside a quiet dining hall at Santa Maria delle Grazie, I stood face-to-face with one of the most famous artworks in the world —
**The Last Supper** by Leonardo da Vinci drawn over 500 years ago.

No glass.
No dramatic lighting.
Just a fragile masterpiece on a wall.

And then it hits you…

The moment Jesus says, “One of you will betray me.”
Every face reacts differently — shock, anger, denial.

It’s not just a painting… it’s a frozen moment of human emotion. The very reason why it is considered a masterpiece over traditional representations of holy events.

💭 What makes it even more intense:
Due to the painting technique used, this fresco is a very delicate piece and on the fade... You are allowed only 15 minutes to see it and somehow that makes every second count more...

💡 Travel tip:
You just can't walk in and see this masterpiece!
Tickets sell out months in advance — always book through the official site before your trip.
I booked my ticket 3 months before the visit.

**This place doesn’t just look unreal… it FEELS unreal 🤍**

Standing in front of the **Duomo di Milano**, I honestly didn’t know where to look first.

Every inch of this cathedral is covered in detail —
hundreds of spires, thousands of statues… all carved over nearly 600 YEARS!

And then you go up to the rooftop… Walking among the spires, with Milan stretching out around you this is easily one of the most surreal experiences in Europe 🇮🇹

💡 **Don’t miss this:**
* Go early morning or sunset for the best light
* Take the stairs if you can (more immersive 👀)
* Look out for the golden Madonnina at the top

👉 It’s not just a cathedral… it’s a masterpiece you can walk through

💡 Travel tip:
Book rooftop access in advance — it’s the highlight, not just the interior.

**This is NOT what I expected from Michelangelo…**

Standing in a quiet corner of Castello Sforzesco, I came across his final masterpiece — the Pietà Rondanini.

And honestly… it stopped me.

Unlike the perfect, polished beauty of his earlier works, this one feels unfinished, fragile… almost haunting. Mary doesn’t just hold Jesus — she seems to become one with him.

The figures are elongated, raw, and stripped of detail — as if Michelangelo wasn’t sculpting bodies anymore… but emotion.

💭 What makes this even more powerful is that he was working on this sculpture until just days before his death at age 88.

No perfection.
No symmetry.
Just humanity.
It’s not about what’s complete…It’s about what’s real.

💡 Travel tip:
If you’re in Milan, skip the crowds for a moment and find this hidden gem inside Castello Sforzesco. It’s quiet, uncrowded — and deeply moving.
