Last week, we swapped Prague for Panama and finally had the chance to meet our GEO5 distribution partners from LATAM in person.

We’d been trying to get everyone together in Prague for a long time, but between full calendars, time zones, and long travel, it just never quite worked out. So instead of waiting for the perfect moment, we decided to go to them. What started as a smaller meetup turned into something much bigger, and by the end, almost the entire region had joined.

It was great to finally meet in person, spend real time together, and talk beyond the usual calls and emails. Hearing firsthand how GEO5 is being used in practice — along with all the honest feedback, ideas, and shared experiences — made it a really meaningful few days.

We came back with a lot of valuable insights, great conversations, and a few moments that are probably better left out of the official notes 😊

If you ever need a proof that great engineers never really stop working … here it is.

This week we welcomed Ing. Boleslav Adámek (82) and his colleague to Fine Software offices for training — both retired, both still actively designing and solving real structural engineering problems.

They came to us because someone they trust told them: “You should try .” And honestly… that’s the best kind of beginning. No pitch, no polished sales talk — just a good recommendation passed from one engineer to another.

Our experts Jan Krejčík and Antonín Sirotek took them through FIN EC programs, and what we’ll remember most isn’t a feature list — it’s their energy. Curious, focused, sharp, and genuinely excited to learn something new.

Throughout the session, Boleslav and his colleague kept coming back to the same feeling: FIN EC is intuitive, it fits naturally into real design work, and it doesn’t feel like “software you fight with” — it feels like a tool that helps you get things done.

For us this was truly inspiring. Seeing two experienced engineers who could easily say “I’ve done enough, leave me alone”.:-) Instead they chose to keep working, learning, helping.

From Paris to TRUSS4 production floors across Europe
During our recent meeting in Paris, our CEO Jiri LAURIN met with Benoit RENARD, CEO of BREKAR — a leading French manufacturer of nail plates and an official TRUSS4 dealer in France.

The main focus of the meeting was timber structures and all topics related to our TRUSS4 software. Beyond the strategic market discussion, we received very concrete, hands-on feedback from daily production in France, specifically from manufacturers focused on attic trusses and framing styles unique to the French market.

The key topic: Optimization of production through TRUSS4 and CNC integration.
BREKAR shared practical insights directly from the factory floor, showing how even small TRUSS4 software adjustments can significantly impact machine output,assembly speed, and overall production efficiency.
This included specific recommendations for improving TRUSS4 processing logic and its connection to CNC machines, with one clear goal: faster production, fewer manual steps, and higher consistency across manufacturing.

All these real-world inputs are now being translated directly into the next TRUSS4 releases — because industrial software should evolve based on real production data, not theory.

30th Concrete Days 2025, Litomyšl, Czech Republic
An inspiring day full of concrete, structural engineering and great meetings is behind us!
At our booth we presented primarily FIN EC software https://www.finesoftware.eu/structural-analyses/ for structural engineers and also our flagship geotechnical GEO5 Software.
The event took place in the beautiful city of Litomyšl, famous for its stunning castle, which is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

We met many potential new FIN EC users as well as long-time GEO5 users — thank you for your valuable feedback and inspiring discussions!
