Headed by the Forum’s new leaders Aljoscha Begrich and Sima Djabar Zadegan, they will move to “Radical Playgrounds”, the art parkour at Gropius Bau, for the duration of Theatertreffen. How radical can and should playing in the theatre be today? Who can play where and with whom? And what’s the point?"

CHROMOCULARS (2020)
Is shutting down our eyes the only way to escape the visual excess of information culture that surrounds us? Is there a possibility to keep our eyes in play with the other senses?

Architects-Designing-Experiences, .nuel.a and have created this sensory tool, the Chromoculars, that critically questions our visual experiences.

The Chromoculars allow the wearer to see only color and light without any shape or form. It offers an opposing “view” to the dominance of information culture where we perceive and judge everything by sight and vision.
