While the colors of are often beautiful, sometimes it's the structure and shapes that are what make the image interesting. In this case you might want to try .🌃

Photo tip: learning to see how the final version of your image should look is a great skill to learn. It takes practice and some knowledge of editing, but well worth it.📷. I call it previsualizing.

One of the best ways to see a city is to get up high. If you don't have a drone, that means finding a tall building with a good vantage point. One of the best is the , the tallest building in the world. 📷🌍

Photo tip: if you do photograph from a building, try to avoid shooting through the glass as there will always be reflections (not the good sort).
I will usually wear black to help to block out the stray light, or you can bring some black fabric to cover the camera, or there are even special rubber mounts for the lens if you are really serious about it 😎

It doesn't always have to be completely dark for great city lights. The evening I created this image it was cold and rainy, but so worth tge effort to go out and shoot. 📷☔
I don't know about you, but I find i like some of my images more when I remember the effort involved in the making. Sadly the viewer doesn't have that info 😅

Photo tip for today. Don't be lazy.. Go out and take some pictures even when you would rather stay warm and dry. You might just create something awesome! 👍😎

Pyrgos on Santorini island in Greece is more of a village than a city, but I just had to include this image! 😁
Taken on the Friday night of Pascha, the Greek Orthodox version of Easter, the whole village is covered in thousands of firelights. 🔥🔥
The view of the whole village is spectacular, and walking through the center is also something special. I highly recommend you add it to your .
📷 Photo tip: finding the perfect vantage point amongst the grape vines in the dark is not easy, so scout a good spot during daylight 🌞

Capturing beautiful takes some practice, and a great city certainly helps 😁.
You don't need a tripod, but you need to keep your camera steady.📷
Bonus tip : turn on the 2 second self timer to reduce shake (works great with your too).

It's really fun to play around with a person in silhouette with a sunset. Just make sure to keep the photo dark so you get great colors. 😁🌞📷

This was magnificent, but trickier to capture as i wanted the amazing sky, and the white buildings in the foreground. A little in-camera came to the rescue!
