Representatives of the Euro Equus association met during the Velká pardubická se Slavia pojišťovnou.

This legendary race was dominated by the Irish gelding STUMPTOWN ridden by jockey Keith Michael Donoghue, a foreign winner for the first time in thirty years! 🐴🇮🇪

On Sunday, October 12, Velká pardubická se Slavia pojišťovnou will take place at the Dostihové závodiště Pardubice – one of the toughest and most famous horse races in the world. 🐎🐎🐎

EUROPEAN HORSE DAY 2025 🐴
On Saturday, 6th September 2025, as part of the 4th Qualifying for the Velká pardubická se Slavia pojišťovnou, we celebrated EURO EQUUS DAY. This year’s edition was marked by international cooperation and friendship – in Pardubice racecourse, we welcomed our partner city Waregem from Belgium. 🐎🇧🇪

The programme featured the Euro Equus association race, a playful afternoon for families with children, a presentation of the famous Waregem Koerse steeplechase, as well as a tasting of Belgian delicacies.

The event was organised by the Město PardubicePardubice in cooperation with Europe Direct PardubiceEurope Direct Pardubice.

The winner of the IV. qualifying for the Velká pardubická se Slavia pojišťovnou which took place as the Velká cena Pardubic – EURO EQUUS, was the ten-year-old Aeneas, ridden by jockey Josef Bartoš and trained by Josef Váňa Sr. CONGRATULATIONS!
