Complete overhaul of Banki turbines – Karlovy Vary region, Czech Republic
During last summer, we carried out a complete disassembly, overhaul, and reinstallation of two Banki turbines at a small hydropower plant.
The total installed capacity is 37 kW.
The technology is back in operation and ready for the coming seasons.
Hydropower is our specialty.

A project in progress 💪

In October, we were commissioned by Strojírny Brno to dismantle a safety gate from the dam of the Vranov Reservoir. As of today, our team is continuing follow-up works directly at the customer’s workshops.

Today, preparations were carried out for the dismantling of the shut-off disc from the DN 2500 safety gate (approx. 8 tons), including the removal of the fl**ge, sensors, and studs from the gate body. Tomorrow, we will continue by positioning the gate and carrying out further preparations for removing the shut-off disc.

We thank Strojírny Brno for their trust and professional cooperation on this project.
In the coming period, we still have capacity for additional cooperation.

Někdy se termíny projektů vyvíjejí trochu jinak, než se původně plánovalo — a výsledkem je volný týden, který rádi nabídneme někomu, kdo ho skutečně využije.

👉 K dispozici jsou 3 šikovní montéři / mechanici (tedy šest pracovitých rukou).

dva z nás jsou zkušení svářeči.

Jeden z týmu má 10+ let praxe na montážích a servisu strojních technologií SHPP, ostatní jsou stejně spolehliví a pracují s kompletním firemním vybavením.

Co pro vás zvládneme:

🔧 montáže a demontáže (prakticky čehokoli)
🚐 výjezd kamkoli – i do zahraničí, pokud jde o smysluplný vícedenní pracovní blok
🔩 zvládáme i opravdu „těžký kalibr“…

Naposledy jsme například vytahovali bezpečnostní klapku DN 2500 (12 tun) z hráze Vranovské přehrady.
Takže žádná práce pro nás není moc velká ani malá. 😄

In July, we completed another interesting project where our team had the opportunity to demonstrate both experience and reliability.

For our long-standing customer and partner, Hidrostal Bohemia, we installed a pumping system with a capacity of up to 2,100 l/min at the Ružomberok wastewater treatment plant.
The project included the installation of 4 electric pumps (connected to 2 × 600 mm discharge pipelines) and 4 diesel SuperBetsy units.

During the four-week operation, we provided 24/7 on-site supervision, onsite facilities in the form of a residential caravan, and we also installed a camera monitoring system that allowed all stakeholders to monitor water levels and pump performance in real time.

After the pumping phase was finished, we carried out the complete disassembly and loading of all equipment.

We would like to thank Hidrostal Bohemia for many years of cooperation and for the trust they continue to place in us.
We are proud that our work supports projects in pumping technology, water management, and installations related to hydropower facilities.

na montáži na Vranovské přehradě nám bohužel odpadl jeden kolega kvůli problémům se zády, takže hledáme náhradu na pozici pomocného montéra – zatím do konce týdne (do pátku), s možností další spolupráce podle situace.

👷‍♂️ Hledáme pomocného montéra na Vranovskou přehradu, ideálně z Brna a okolí
Do našeho týmu hledáme jednoho šikovného člověka na dvou- až tříměsíční zakázku. Očekáváme zkušenosti ze strojírenství nebo opravárenství, znalost dílenského nářadí a chuť pustit se do práce.
✨ Nabízíme ohodnocení dle zkušeností:
na IČO: 300–400 Kč/h
na HPP: 40–50 tis. čistého
Po skončení zakázky je možnost pokračovat na pracích v dílnách v Kuřimi, případně na dalších montážích.
Práce je fyzicky náročnější, ale zajímavá a v dobrém kolektivu.

EU Hydrofitter s.r.o. is looking for a skilled and reliable student for occasional assistance with technical tasks related to small hydropower plants.

The work mainly involves technical support in project preparation, minor tasks in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and, when needed, trips to hydropower plants in the Czech Republic and abroad.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to actively participate in on-site assembly work — not just observe, but be part of the action.

We are a small installation and service company focused on mechanical technologies for small hydropower plants (SHP). Our office is in Brno, and we prefer someone from the surrounding area. Currently, we mainly travel for installations and service work in the UK, Italy, and the Czech Republic.

Cooperation is on a part-time basis (DPP/DPČ), with scope negotiable. Fair compensation based on involvement and experience.

It may have seemed quiet on our end for a while, but quite the opposite is true – we just haven’t had the time to share what’s been happening out in the field.

Here are a few photos from a technical intervention we carried out in May on a direct-current Kaplan turbine in Manchester. A bearing seizure occurred, which damaged both the shaft's contact surface and the turbine cover in the bearing area.

Thanks to the quick response of the local caretaker and his excellent network of contacts, a company was found that managed to repair both the shaft and the cover within just four days.

Meanwhile, we carried out a complete gearbox re-sealing – but we’ll spare you the flood of photos from that part. 😊

Big thanks to the whole team for their dedication and cooperation – even these “unplanned” events are part of life around turbines.

Today's small inspection of a Francis turbine from 1908, manufactured by the Czech company J. Prokop & Sons from Pardubice. The turbine is truly compact – it operates with a head of just 2.5 meters and reaches a maximum output of 60 kW.
