The Vodou train is back on the 14.11. for another cheeky get together. This time we are coming back to our beloved pul.pit, where many music styles meet and fuse together.
For this special occasion we brought some firepower from Prague, Bratislava and Sofia to make it extra juicy. So let's create some more beautiful memories! Who is up for shenanigans?

We are back, and this time with a piece made by the legend of cinema, John Carpenter. This one shaped many movies which came after and was the inspiration for the Mortal Combat video game series.

Let me introduce to you, "Big Trouble in Little China" (1986).

Plot:
Truck driver Jack Burton gets embroiled in a supernatural battle when his best friend Wang Chi's green-eyed fiancée is kidnapped by henchmen of the sorcerer Lo Pan, who must marry a girl with green eyes in order to return to the human realm.

We are ready for another projection and this one takes us to England, more precisely Liverpool. It's one of the most successful movies made by Hong Kong born director Ronny Yu. She really created and unforgettable piece featuring the legend, Samuel L. Jackson and Trainspotting star Robert Carlyle. Ladies and gents, "51th State" aka "Formula 51" (2001).

Plot:
Elmo (Jackson) goes to England to sell his new and powerful drug that guarantees a high like never before. But, all goes wrong in a bizarre way as he gets entangled amidst doubles-dealings and double crossers.

Mark the 16.09. because we are coming back from the summer break and ready for more freaky gatherings.
This time we bring you a special jewel from the movie treasury of the Soviet Union. The Sci-fi/Comedy masterpiece of Georgiy Daneliya, ladies and gents, Kin-dza-dza! (1986). Join us for some proper slavic shenanigans.

Plot: Two Russians push the wrong button on a strange device and end up on the telepathic planet Pluke in the Kin-Dza-Dza constellation. To be able to go back to Earth they need to try and understand these peculiar aliens and their weird social norms.
