🇨🇾✨ Citizens Act proudly hosted a training course in Cyprus from 16–18 June 2026, bringing together trainers and VET educators from across Europe the GreenSkills4Deaf project.

🌱💻 During the three-day training, participants explored innovative digital tools and learned how to effectively integrate them into green skills education for deaf people and individuals with hearing difficulties.

🤝 The training provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, share good practices, and strengthen inclusive and accessible approaches to vocational education and training.

🙌 Thank you to all participants and partners for their active engagement and contribution to creating a more inclusive and sustainable future!

🇵🇱✨ Citizens Act participated in the SchoolinHub Train-the-Trainer Mobility in Warsaw, Poland, from 9–11 June 2026.

🌍 During three productive days, partners, educators and trainers came together to explore project results, test the SCHOOLinHUB platform and mobile app, validate skills through micro-credentials, and exchange good practices for implementing the programme at school and community levels.

🤝 Citizens Act was represented by our team and an external participant, contributing to valuable discussions and collaborative learning with partners from across Europe.
🙌 Thank you to all partners for the inspiring exchange and excellent cooperation. We look forward to the next steps of the SCHOOLinHUB journey!

🇵🇱✨ Το Citizens Act συμμετείχε στην εκπαίδευση Train-the-Trainer του έργου SCHOOLinHUB, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Βαρσοβία της Πολωνίας, από τις 9 έως τις 11 Ιουνίου 2026.

🌍 Για τρεις ημέρες, εταίροι, εκπαιδευτικοί και εκπαιδευτές από διάφορες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες συναντήθηκαν για να γνωρίσουν τα αποτελέσματα του έργου, να δοκιμάσουν την πλατφόρμα και την εφαρμογή SCHOOLinHUB και να ανταλλάξουν εμπειρίες και καλές πρακτικές.

🌍🇨🇾 CitizensACT was pleased to participate in the Transnational Training Mobility hosted by Emphasys Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 9–11 June 2026.

Over three productive days, project partners from across Europe came together to exchange knowledge, explore innovative project outputs, and strengthen collaboration around dementia awareness and intergenerational learning for the Hands Together Project.

As part of the programme, CitizensACT presented and facilitated activities on Understanding Dementia and Introduction to Intergenerational Learning, contributing to the development of educational resources that support people experiencing early signs of dementia and promote meaningful connections between generations.

The mobility provided a valuable opportunity to test project materials, share expertise, and work collectively towards more inclusive, age-friendly communities.

Energy and water are essential for creating successful events, but they must be managed responsibly to reduce environmental impact and support a more sustainable future. 🌍

🔋 Switch to Renewable Energy
Whenever possible, prioritize renewable energy sources and grid connections over diesel generators. Cleaner energy means lower emissions, less noise, and a smaller carbon footprint.

💡 Improve Energy Efficiency
Simple choices can make a big difference:
✔️ LED lighting for stages and venues
✔️ Energy-efficient equipment and appliances
✔️ Smarter energy use throughout the event

🚰 Value Every Drop
Water is a precious resource. Sustainable events can reduce consumption by:
✔️ Installing low-flow taps
✔️ Using water-efficient facilities
✔️ Providing refill stations for reusable water bottles

Small changes create a big impact. By managing energy and water wisely, we can organize events that are both successful and environmentally responsible.

🌿 Στις 16 Μαΐου πραγματοποιήθηκε η εκδήλωση της ΕΕΠΥΠ «Ευτυχισμένα και Υγιή Παιδιά στη Ψηφιακή Εποχή» στο Πάρκο - Παλιό ΓΣΠ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💚

Το Citizens ACT και το CODEARRAYS συμμετείχε μέσα από το έργο Eco-Families 🌱🏡, όπου είχαμε την ευκαιρία να συναντήσουμε γονείς και παιδιά, να μοιραστούμε οικολογικές συμβουλές ♻️🌍 και να περάσουμε όμορφες και δημιουργικές στιγμές μαζί 🎲✨

Μέσα από τις δραστηριότητες και τις συζητήσεις μάθαμε περισσότερα για τη σημασία της ισορροπημένης χρήσης της τεχνολογίας 📱🌈 και για πιο υγιείς καθημερινές συνήθειες 💚

🌿 On 16/05/2026, the EEPYP event “Happy and Healthy Children in the Digital Age” took place at the Old GSP Park 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💚

Citizens ACT and CODEARRAYS participated through the Eco-Families programme 🌱🏡, where we had the opportunity to meet parents and children, share eco-friendly tips ♻️🌍, and enjoy fun and creative moments together 🎲✨

Through the activities and discussions, we learned more about the importance of balanced technology use 📱🌈 and healthier daily habits 💚
