¡Semana ERASMUS+ en español!

Del 21 al 25 de agosto 2023, tuvimos el privilegio de recibir a 5 profesores de escuelas primarias y secundarias en el marco del programa ERASMUS+. Nos unimos en un viaje de aprendizaje con nuestro curso "Competencias digitales para educadores", impartido íntegramente en español.

Esto es una prueba viviente de que el programa ERASMUS+ no está limitado sólo al inglés. Las lenguas y culturas diversas enriquecen nuestra comunidad educativa y ofrecen experiencias únicas para el desarrollo profesional.

From Aug 14-19, we were honored to host a group of passionate ERASMUS teachers, right here in Paphos. Representing the best from , , , and , they delved deep into the realm of "Digital Competences".

In a week filled with exchange, exploration, and enlightenment, these educators are now poised to pioneer the digital revolution in their classrooms, ready to shape the thinkers of tomorrow!

🌐 English through Technology course update 🌐

This week (7-11 Aug 2023) we delivered our course "English through technology" for ERASMUS+ teachers. Together, we dove deep into the impact of digital tech on language and the transformative role of educators in our globalized world. A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful participants from Spain, Germany, and Hungary! 🇪🇸🇩🇪🇭🇺 Your enthusiasm and diverse backgrounds, spanning from primary to vocational education, enriched our course immensely.

Last week (17-21 July 2023) was a special one for us. We had the pleasure of hosting two amazing teachers from Germany who shared their knowledge and love for technology. Together, we explored the world of AI in education. Their seminar was actually a deep-dive into how AI could influence future learning especially in vocational education where they work. During the seminar, we used data analysis and modern methodologies to come up with various pioneering project ideas. We really appreciate the German visitors for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm. We're excited about shaping the future of education with the help of AI. Thanks for being with us on this journey!

Our "English through Technology" course was an absolute blast this week (10-14/7/2005) as we welcomed a fantastic group of five talented teachers from the Czech Republic, Italy, and Hungary!

We couldn't have asked for a more vibrant and diverse group of educators to join us in exploring the intersection of English language learning and technology. Together, we delved into the fascinating world of digital tools, online resources, and innovative teaching methods that can enhance language acquisition in the most engaging ways.

Throughout the week, we embarked on a journey of discovery, sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices. The collaboration among our international participants was nothing short of inspiring! Each teacher brought their unique perspectives and approaches, enriching our discussions and challenging us to think outside the box.

Our course was a true celebration of cultural exchange, as we not only explored new teaching methodologies but also had the opportunity to learn about the fascinating traditions, languages, and customs of the Czech Republic, Italy, and Hungary. It was a reminder of how language learning can bridge cultures and foster understanding among people from different backgrounds.

What an incredible week it's been here at our Institute! We were thrilled to welcome a group of dedicated ERASMUS+ teachers from Czechia, Romania, and Poland for our transformative "Outdoor Learning, 3-7 July 2023" course.

Through engaging hands-on workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and immersive outdoor experiences, we explored the boundless potential of nature as a dynamic classroom. We navigated the challenges, embraced the unpredictability, and celebrated the joys of learning in the great outdoors. A hearty thank you to our passionate participants for their inspiring enthusiasm.

And of course this week wasn't just about sharing knowledge and practices but also building cross-cultural connections and friendships. We're looking forward to our next adventure together. Until then, keep carrying the spirit of outdoor learning wherever you go!

Between May 29th and June 2nd, and subsequently from June 7th to June 12th in 2023, we had the privilege of hosting ERASMUS+ teachers from Slovakia and Poland during the two sessions of our 'Green Education' course. Our academy brimmed with enthusiasm, inquisitiveness, and an intense passion for sustainable practices and environmental education.

Together, we navigated various subjects, exchanged perspectives, and accrued invaluable knowledge that the teachers are eagerly prepared to infuse into their classrooms. The remarkable participation from each of them transformed our sessions into a memorable experience.

Bonjour à tous ! La semaine dernière (22-26/5/2023), nous avons eu le plaisir d'organiser pour la seconde fois cette année notre formation "Le numérique à l'école". Nous avons eu la chance d'accueillir une professeure de français venue d'Espagne, qui a apporté dans notre salle de classe son précieux savoir acquis à la fois par ses études et son travail en France. Ayant un lien personnel avec cette culture et enseignant le français en tant que langue étrangère, elle a rendu cette semaine incroyablement enrichissante. Quelle semaine intéressante nous avons passée! Rejoignez-nous pour découvrir de nouvelles perspectives passionnantes dans l'apprentissage du français et l’utilisation du numérique dans l’école.
