Today I watched our lifeguard go above and beyond to help a guest who was nervous and scared about getting into the water. He didn’t rush her or simply tell her she’d be fine — he stayed with her, reassured her and helped her all the way in.
Watching someone take that extra bit of time and care really warmed my heart.
This is what holidays should be about… feeling safe, looked after and never feeling like you’re just another guest.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do — people, memories and those little moments that make a holiday special.
Go the extra mile. You never know how much it might mean to someone.

Two years ago, I met a lovely lady on holiday whose husband was suddenly taken into hospital. What started as simply helping a guest soon became something much more — I was there to help her navigate those difficult days, supporting her while we waited for him to be well enough to fly home.
Today, I met them both again.
And standing there together, two years on, I realised once again… this is where Navigate with Nicky was born.
Because Navigate isn't just about excursions, recommendations or finding your way around Cyprus.
It’s about people.
It’s about being there when you need someone.
It’s about the friendships that begin on holiday and last long after the suitcase is packed away.
