It is one of those fitness obstacle courses which is over 10 KM and some crazy obstacles you have to get over.
Do you think the majority of people would have had the courage and determination to do that if they werenโt in a group encouraging and helping them through it?
Probably not.
And that is the power of the group!
That is WHY having the right COMMUNITY is important.
So our sessions are EVERY Monday and Wednesday
at 7:30am and 8:30am
Even if you are a โbeginnerโ and havenโt exercised in years.... it doesnโt matter. - I have got you!

I felt naff at 6am
Tired
As Adam was driving us to 7;30am session I thought Iโm gonna struggle
My usual coffee hit didnโt seem to touch the sides
And yes itโs safe to say I felt grumpy ๐ตโ๐ซ
We know whatโs coming next
As I started moving & told my self just get on the mat
MOVE
Showing up is the hard part
Drop the need for a great session

15 mins in Iโm feeling lighter, brighter,
45 mins over & out - better human
You wonโt feel like exercise 9/10
The magic happens after
Feelings aside
Show up for yourself because you matter & results wonโt come unless you do

Why exercising in a group is powerful.
Sometimes we all get those times when we donโt feel like exercising.
We get those moments lacking in motivation
โIโll just take today off and get back to it tomorrowโ
How do I know?
I felt like this recently. ๐๐
So how is the best way to beat it??
Get to your session!
Just turning up to see your group.
Seeing them, feeling the energy in the room, and just doing a littleโฆ.
That is how you beat it and get the motivation back.
You Donโt get motivated by not doing.
You get motivation by doing.
Also being in a group is powerful because itโs inspiring.
Seeing yourself and other progress, that way you know you are doing the right thing for you.
Also being in a group is powerful as it creates a community.
Turning up to see your new friends (or old friends if you was with us before)
That is one reason why group exercise is powerful ๐๐

3 tips to help you lose weight & keep it off
1๏ธโฃ Donโt be extreme.
When you cut too aggressively, hunger takes over, so your cravings go through the roof, you lose control around food.
Thatโs how the binge-restrict cycle starts.
So small micro changes, is what keeps you in a sustainable defcit.
2๏ธโฃ Consistency beats perfection .
You donโt need to be perfectโฆbut if youโre all in during the week and โoffโ on weekends, youโre canceling out your own progress. Real results come from showing up consistently, not occasionally.
WEEKENDS MATTER
3๏ธโฃ Nutrition is KING.
Workouts help, but fat loss happens in the kitchen. You donโt need to cut carbs or eliminate your favorite foods. Structure and flexibility will always win over perfectionist thinking.

Like most people who are wanting to lose weight you may have found yourself trying numerous times in the past
You may have tried diets that your wife recommended, joining gym, even having a personal trainer
But one thing in common with all of these is that you have had limited success and ALWAYS found your way back to your starting weight.
So it is not uncommon for you to feel the motivation dropping as you get older.
What I am going to share with you next are the 3 THINGS that you need to do BEFORE you start your next weight loss attempt because if we are honest, you have more important things that your attention needs instead of trying to work out what to do to lose weight and keep it off!

With whatever you choose to do make sure it is something that you can commit to.
Having meals sent to you but a weight loss company, or even replacing meals with shakes are NOT sustainable.
The same as cutting whole food groups out like NO CARB diets.
These results you will get will only be short lived.

And it is totally fine to be in it.

Next time you are there, accept it and move quickly through it.
You do not need to hold guilt or shame around it.
