Ο καιρός ήταν τέλειος, η παρέα υπέροχη και τα Λεύκαρα πανέμορφα και γιορτινά. Τρέξαμε λίγο, περπατήσαμε ακόμα λίγο, μπήκαμε σε μουσεία και χώρους δημιουργών και τελειώσαμε με τσιμπήματα... και ζιβανια στην πλατεία...

The weather was perfect, the company ideal and the village of Lefkara was festive and wonderful. We ran a bit, hiked a bit more and visited museums, churches and studios. The finish was at the square with snacks ...and zivania!

Discovering our traditional villages on the run! Part of SanTa Lefkara this coming Saturday 23rd Dec. we will be running in Lefkara and exploring the unique architecture, traditions and crafts of the village. Lefkara Tour Christmas Run!
Easy pace for a distance of approx. 5km
Meet at the square of the old town hall at 10am
Participation is free with snacks and drinks at the end.
Remember to bring your used running shoes to be donated to Papoutsokiklosi..🏃🎄👟💚🎅

Ο "δημιουργός" της φανέλας " " ο αδελφικός φίλος /συν-βουρητης/συν-δημιουργός του Art on the Run- Κουνήσου μούχλα και αστείρευτη πηγή θετικής ενέργειας, δημιουργίας, ιδεών, εεε τζιε κάποιας ποίησης τζιε συγγραφής μυθιστορημάτων (πόσα βιβλία κυκλοφορησες είπαμε;;😁)...τζιε πολλά άλλα.... Ναι, ο Kostas Patinios μας.. μεγάλωσε τζιε τζεινος στον Άγιο Δομέτιο όπως τζιε εγώ! Πολλές Κυριακές που τρέχω στην πόλη τα ποθκια μου με παίρνουν χωρίς να το πολλοσκεφτώ που ποτζει... Γειτονιές του Αγίου Ανδρέα τζιε Αγίου Δομετίου. Έτσι σήμερα, είπα μιαν τζιε απόκτησα και την φανέλα "βουρω_ακομα" τζιε σε δυο εβδομάδες η πόλη μας θα γιορτάσει με τον Quantum Nicosia Marathon 2023 να υπενθυμίσουμε να τον στηρίξουμε. Δρομείς και θεατές!
Ας τρέξουμε στην Λευκωσία με χαρά, χωρίς άγχος τζιε χωρίς πουρουδες...
(Έτσι τζιε για κάτι πιο νοσταλγικό τζιε προσωπικό πάντα που την οδό Δελφίνος τζιε το σχολείο μου Β αστική, που τον Ιππόδρομο, που το σπίτι της γιαγιάς μου, την εκκλησία του Αγ. Γεωργίου που με έπαιρνε...το πατρικό της παιδικής μου φίλης στην οδό Γεωργαλλιδου...μα τζιε πόσα άλλα... μόνο που το νηπιαγωγείο μου Ο Τιραμόλας κατεδαφίστηκε... και το γκαράζ του σπιτιού μας που έχει στο τοίχο σημειωμένα το ύψος μας εμένα και της αρφης μου...ε, εβάλαν του ηλεκτρική πόρτα να κλείνει πλέον... Η λεμονιά όμως τζιε η πορτοκαλιά που φύτεψε ο παπάς μου εν τζιαμε.......)

Some wanted to run but some wanted to walk....
And so we did. We walked around the narrow streets, visited art studios, talked about contradictions and harmonies... about layers of history and creative spirits...
Nicosia within the Medieval Walls is a jewel to be discovered and get lost in. As a resident for more than 30 years I have seen and lived its spirit and soul, its growth, wealth, the opportunities and the mistakes, the rumors and the realities..... And so much more...
If you are here for work and need a break from meetings to shake out those legs ..... We can run the old town or walk it......
