ENERGY SAVING TIP – GETTING READY FOR THE SUMMER:
Night purge cooling (very effective in Cyprus)
Late night / early morning: open windows wide to flush out trapped heat.
Create cross-ventilation if possible (opposite sides of the home).
Then seal everything before 9–10 AM to trap the cooler air inside.

ENERGY SAVING TIP:
For May, optimize energy by managing cooling and lighting as temperatures start to rise. Air conditioners should be set to 23–26°C and use window coverings, such as closing curtains during the day, to prevent heat gain. Switch to LED lighting, wash clothes in cold water, and unplug chargers.

Για τον Μάιο, βελτιστοποιήστε την κατανάλωση ενέργειας διαχειριζόμενοι την ψύξη και τον φωτισμό καθώς η θερμοκρασία αρχίζει να ανεβαίνει. Τα κλιματιστικά θα πρέπει να ρυθμίζονται στους 23–26°C. Χρησιμοποιήστε καλύμματα παραθύρων, όπως το κλείσιμο των κουρτινών κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας, για να αποτρέψετε την εισροή θερμότητας. Μεταβείτε σε φωτισμό LED, πλένετε τα ρούχα με κρύο νερό και αποσυνδέετε τους φορτιστές.
