In honour of National Creativity Day, today we celebrate a masterpiece of myth and imagination.

This is the largest painting in Cyprus, created by artist Andreas Makariou from Paphos, located at the St Raphael Resort. Commissioned in 1996, the artwork brings together the worlds of Greek mythology and the cosmos in one extraordinary piece.
Look closely and you’ll discover legendary figures like Zeus and Europa, the Three Muses, and many other ancient myths, some even connected to Cyprus itself.
