Last Saturday we shared special moments at the second Avli Session. The gods of rain were with us and spared us a clear sky just one hour before our opening time.
Folks arrived from all corners of Cyprus despite the rather cold evening, and together we created an unforgettable night. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to join.
Big gratitude to our wonderful team: Vavla Rustic Retreat for the hosting and amazing grand piano, Tablecloth for the incredible wine selections and serving, and Vavla’s Treasures for bringing the tradition of olive oil, zivania and carob syrup to the table.
And of course our very own Freedom Candlemaker and Nama Dama, who graced the night with their soulful music.

This Saturday, at AVLI Sessions in .dama brings her live set into the courtyard.
Working with live looping, layered vocals and minimal elements, she creates a space that feels both intimate and expansive. Her performances draw from polyphony, folk roots and imagined languages, forming something that is less a concert and more a lived experience.

This time, Nama Dama brings her live set into the courtyard of Vavla Rustic Retreat, moving between voice, ritual, and contemporary composition. Drawing from polyphony, minimalism, and multicultural influences, her performance unfolds as something both intimate and expansive.
It is an invitation to arrive, to listen, and to be part of a community. We are gradually shaping a series of gatherings where artistic voices feel safe to express, connect, and exist without pressure. If this resonates with you, stay close. More sessions and shared moments are already taking form.
