Additionally, civil marriages will be performed on request on no-working days and until 7 pm
daily (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays). There are additional fees payable for
weddings taking place out of the normal working hours of the town hall and also for
weddings taking place at any venue except those that take place in or outside buildings that
are considered to belong to the Municipality of Agios Athanasios.

Πολιτικοί γάμοι VS Κορωνοϊός: 1-0, γιατί ο έρωτας πανδημία δεν κοιτά!!! 💞

Παρόλο που η πλειοψηφία των μελλόνυμφων επιλέγει να αναβάλει προσωρινά την τελετή του γάμου, δεν είναι λίγοι εκείνοι που επιλέγουν να προσαρμοστούν στις νέες συνθήκες εν μέσω της πανδημίας και ανεβαίνουν τα σκαλιά του δημαρχείου.
Από τα μέσα Ιουνίου μέχρι σήμερα, περισσότερο από τριάντα (30) ζευγάρια πέρασαν την πύλη του δημαρχείου Αγίου Αθανασίου και παντρεύτηκαν με πολιτικό γάμο. Παρόντες ελάχιστοι συγγενείς και φίλοι. Τα χαμόγελα όμως πλατιά και η ευτυχία μεγάλη. Ο έρωτας αποδεικνύεται το δυνατότερο «φάρμακο» κατά του κορωνοϊού.
Ο Δήμος Αγίου Αθανασίου λαμβάνει όλα τα απαραίτητα προληπτικά μέτρα με στόχο τη διασφάλιση της υγείας των ενδιαφερόμενων ζευγαριών, των συγγενών και φίλων τους, καθώς και του προσωπικού του από τον κορωνοϊό, ακολουθώντας πιστά τις επίσημες οδηγίες του Υπουργείου Υγείας.
Συνεχίζουμε να τελούμε γάμους και αυτό είναι ευχάριστο. Ο κόσμος διατηρεί την ελπίδα του και παντρεύεται. Ο έρωτας… κορωνοϊό δεν κοιτά και με το καλό θα βγούμε από αυτή την πρωτόγνωρη δοκιμασία πιο δυνατοί!!

Civil marriages VS Coronavirus 1-0 – Love overcomes pandemic!!! 💞

Although many couples took the decision to postpone their wedding ceremonies, there are couples who decide to adapt into the new conditions of pandemic and plan their civil wedding with our municipality.
From mid-June until today, more than thirty (30) couples got married in a civil ceremony at the Town Hall of Agios Athanasios, with few relatives and quests, due to the new restrictions. Still couples re-plan and make a micro wedding on a small-scale and enjoy their lifetime commitment with happiness and smile. It proves that love is a strong "medicine" against the coronavirus.
The Municipality of Agios Athanasios takes all the necessary preventive measures to ensure couples and their guests can held their ceremonies in safety, as well as for the staff, following the Government COVID-19 guidelines.
In addition, we continue to book wedding ceremonies and make couples wedding celebration still enjoyable. Couples find the way to celebrate love in the time of coronavirus and give the message that ‘Love always win’.
