I would like to share with you a fictitious brand design I did long ago. The brief was to propose how I would idealize the look of a Cape Verdean airline.

With the evaluation of a set of characteristics of Cape Verde and its official representation symbols, the path followed can be seen in this post below.

Este evento é uma celebração do talento e da criatividade dos nossos criadores de Banda Desenhada. Durante a mostra, teremos a apresentação das duplas de criadores cujas obras foram apoiadas com uma Bolsa Criativa, culminando na produção de 9 livros de Banda Desenhada. Estamos particularmente orgulhosos de destacar que três destes livros foram produzidos por duas duplas de Cabo Verde.

Os livros estarão disponíveis para venda no final do evento, proporcionando uma excelente oportunidade para apoiar e incentivar os nossos artistas locais.

Será uma honra contar com a sua presença para prestigiar este momento importante para a Banda Desenhada nos PALOP.

Yohhhh! Once me and the boys decided to create a group chat, a safe place and where the only thing that wasn't allowed was P**N*.

We even made an image for it, and called it MojoBoys.

The name came from our love of Art, cartoons, Comic, Anime, Manga, SCI-FI, Fantasy, pop art and our partnership and the "mojo" world that we stole it from a Swahili word(umoja) meaning "unity".

Who says we don't have comic books created and written by national talent?

In the age of AI-created art, it's crucial to highlight the authenticity and talent of artists like Wilson Lopes( Toze Art ) and Hegui Mendes and Coralie Tavares Silva in PALOP comics. Not only does it showcase Cape Verde's vibrant art and craft scene, but it also underlines the importance of genuine voices and narratives in cultural expression.

Their contributions enrich our cultural tapestry with unique perspectives and stories that resonate with authenticity and passion. This effort to promote genuine Cape Verdean artists and their original titles not only celebrates their creativity, but also fosters a deeper appreciation of our region's rich cultural heritage.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share with you all an interesting piece of news. Remember when I mentioned my recent participation in the Unlearn Poster Pack 5 contest? Well, it is with great excitement that I inform you that four of my posters have been selected to be featured among the 24 posters in Poster Pack 5!

It should also be mentioned that my mates GRMworks and Studiucuk also took part in this edition of the contest. I do believe that they also made some exceptional pieces of art.

Btw, I would like to thank everyone who was involved in this process, especially in the creative process. It took three months of brainstorming, drafting, finalisation and delivery of the final artworks.

My last portfolio update was in late 2019, right around the pandemic, note. Now in 2022 I needed a refresh.

Btw, It is always challenging to design my portfolios, the process is heavy. The selection is the hard part, it's where I have to discriminate and be a jury of my own, imagine how tough it is to judge your own sense of judgment.

In the end it is gratifying to see that I have a whole shelf full of materialized ideas, pieces of art, conceived with the trust of my clients, collaborators, and especially my own.

I believe that those who saw it enjoyed it, and if not, it doesn't cost to get in touch and leave a warm feedback.
