So, this became a completely free painting and I painted things I would never otherwise paint (a fish swimming on a sea of roses eating said roses??!!!? Like wuuuutt??!!) Well, at the end I kinda liked what I did 😇It reminded me of how sometimes people stupidly destroy their own beautiful, perfect rosy environment. Anywho! A silhueta representa uma mulher com um alvo apontado à cabeça. A ideia para este trabalho surgiu depois de uma das inúmeras 'catcalls' e do sentir que a cada objetificação algo dentro da mulher morre aos poucos, daí o nome 'Femicídio'.

The silhouette represents a woman with a target pointed at her head. The idea for this work came after one of the countless catcalls and the feeling that with each objectification something inside dies a little, hence the name 'Femicide'.
