‘f*ck nudes,
send me your poetry.

Send me the lines you wrote
at 2am when sleep wouldn’t come.

The ones scribbled in the margins.
The ones you almost deleted.

Send me the words
that say what you were too afraid to say out loud.’

‘…And let the stars flee from my eyes,
Let heaven and this vault be formed now,
And space, duration for all things,
And let my head give birth to all the world’s woe,
And let the stars flee from my eyes…’

‘Dungeon’ Vladislav Petković Dis

‘…星々が我が眼から逃げ去らん
天とこの天蓋が今こそ形作られん
空間よ、万物の存続よ
我が頭が世界のあらゆる悲しみを産み出せ
星々が我が眼から逃げ去らん…’

Piano Day, an annual worldwide event founded by a group of like-minded people, takes place on the 88th day of the year because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated. Established in 2015, it is now well known across the globe. Every year it provokes special concerts, onstage and online, as well as radio shows, podcasts, and playlists. Our next Piano Day will be celebrated on 29 March, 2024!

You are warmly invited to be part of the worldwide celebration: Create your own Piano Day concerts and events with friends or simply share your videos, photos, stories – anything that is piano-inspired. Let us know if you are interested in participating and we will come back to you with further details. The piano belongs to us all.

Kolektanea

Ljubav, sloboda i mašta
U srcu mom zasejana
Artizmom

Bašta

Gajim je, negujem i plodim,
Rađajući nju,
Sam se sa njom rodim

Iznova

Umirem kad uzalud je gubim,
Gorljivije plevim,
Vatrenije ljubim

Zauvek

Tu, u mojim grudima,
Bez ostatka moja,
Al' pripada ljudima

Svima

Na polzu je nesebično dajem -
Dok u vama traje
Sa njom i ja trajem.

P.S.

Stoga odaću vam rođenja tajnu (s)lepu:
Seme je u levom džepu.

Colectanea

Love, freedom and imagination
Sown in my heart

Garden of Art

I cultivate it, nurture it, reproduce it,
By giving birth to it,
I am born too

Again

I die when I lose it in vain,
So I tirelessly weeding,
More passionatelly loving it

Forever

Here, in my chest,
Pure mine,
But belongs to the people

To all

I give it selflessly to the benefit -
As long as it lasts in you
I last with it too.

P.S.

Therefore I’ll reveal to you a (blind) secret of birth:
The seed is in the left pocket.

Poetry sample:

‘Blue River’

‘Where it is none knows
We know little but it’s known

Beyond forest beyond valley
Beyond seven beyond eight

Still worse still crazier
Over weary over bitter

Over blackthorn over bramble
Over heat over strictness

Over foreboding over doubts
Beyond nine beyond ten

Still deeper still stronger
Beyond quiet beyond dark

Where no c**k crows
Where no horn’s voice is heard

Still worse still crazier
Beyond mind beyond god

There is a blue river
It is wide it is deep...’

𝗠𝗮𝗸 𝗗𝗶𝘇𝗱𝗮𝗿 (1917-1971), famous Bosnian and Yugoslav poet. His poetry collection ‘Modra rijeka (Blue river)’ inspired 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅𝗶, former celebrated Yugoslav rock band, to release their first studio album in 1978 under the same name, conceptually designed around the same poetry.

Milan Konjović

𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐯𝐢ć (Serbian Cyrillic: Милан Коњовић, 28 January 1898, Sombor, Austrian Empire – 20 October 1993, Sombor, Yugoslavia) was a prominent Serbian painter. He studied in many countries abroad and lived in Paris from 1924 to 1932. His long life's work earned him many recognitions as well as a place in the ‘Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts’ (SANU).

By the end of 1990 Konjović had produced about thirty new works, completing the impressive opus of about 6000 oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, temperas, drawings, tapestries, stage sets, costume sketches, stained glass windows, mosaics, and graphics. In his life, Konjović had 297 one-man and 700 group exhibitions in the country and abroad, in such notable locations as Prague, New York, London, Amsterdam, São Paulo, Rome, Modena, Athens, Paris, and Moscow.

Konjović became aware of his own artistic worth very early and always maintained high prices of his paintings, but he also donated them with joyful generosity.

Milan Konjovic is described as Serbian greatest colourist.

His legacy is best represented in his hometown of Sombor where the ‘Milan Konjović’ Gallery, opened on 10 September 1966, holds about 1060 selected works.

‘𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐛-𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡’

𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐢ć (Serbian Cyrillic: Катарина Ивановић, 15 May 1811 Veszprém, Austrian Empire – 22 September 1882 Székesfehérvár, Hungary), was the first Serbian female painter in the modern art history.

She brought new themes to Serbian painting: Genre art and Still life. She was stylistically in between the ideas of Biedermeier and Romanticism; she tried her hand at painting of historical compositions but reached the highest peaks in portrait. A special unit was her self-portraits. As the first educated Serbian painter, in 1876 she became the first woman member of the ‘Serbian Learned Society’.
