An initiative for associating has been started by the representatives of European, American and Canadian Federation of Tamburitza and formed a nine-member Board of Directors, seated in Novi Sad, whose membership included representatives from Serbia, USA, Canada, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary...

Mark Forry, the president of the Tamburitza Association in America, who doctorated on "Srem Tamburitza" and speaks our language, has emphasized that the World Association has much space for improvement that will result in mutual cooperation and exchange of experiences. He also stated that every year, for more than a half century, tambura players in the U.S have been organizing festival across the continent, and for the next one the first guests from Serbia are going to be expected.
