Tradition, old crafts and three rivers
A three-day weekend program
Day 1 Departure from Belgrade. Arrival in Novi Sad. Accommodation in a hotel. Getting together at the previously agreed time. Visiting Museum of Vojvodina, a tour and getting to know the exhibited objects, furniture of a country house and the household utensils. What follows is getting familiar with one of the techniques of the white embroidery and crocheting, creative workshop lasting two hours. A ride in catamaran on the Danube river, a tour of Petrovaradin fortress, known as Gibraltar on the Danube. Dinner at the restaurant on the river bank, with a view of the city. Accommodation in the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Breakfast. A ride to Mosorin, a birth place of Milena Maric Anstajn, an authentic Vojvodinian village, getting familiar with the traditional earth architecture, a lecture and a workshop.( a lecture about the houses made of earth and the way the bricks and the mortar were made). Visiting an authentic household where the wall painting is done. Departure and visiting Titel Hill, Celtic fortress Feudvar. A ride to Titel. A boat ride on the river Tisa. Dinner at the very river bank, specialties of Vojvodinian cuisine Overnight stay in a hotel in Zrenjanin. .
Day 3 Breakfast. A visit to a small traditional craft shop, with a long-lasting heritage of the third generation, where we will get familiar with producing objects made of rushes. Lunch at the bank of the river Begej. After lunch, the end of the program.

ART OF THE PLAIN
A four-day program
Da y 1 Arrival in Novi Sad. Accommodation in a hotel. At the arranged time, visiting Matica srpska, the oldest literary ,cultural and scientific institution and a tour including creative workshop of painting lasting two hours. Pedestrian tour of the city. Seeing Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection, one of the greatest collections of Serbian art from the 20th century. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Breakfast. A ride to Kovacica, a centre of naïve art. Visiting Gallery of naïve art and a private gallery Babka. Moving on towards Becej and Fantast complex, an estate with a beautiful castle that used to belong to Dundjerski family at the beginning of the 19th century. Tour of the castle and inevitable Chapel dedicated to Saint George and iconostasis of the chapel painted by Uros Predic. Accomodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 3 Breakfast. A ride to Sombor, a tour of the town. Seeing the cathedral, a building of former Bács-Bodrog County exhibiting the painting Battle of Senta. That is followed by visiting catholic and orthodox church , and later on, visiting Gallery Konjovic. A ride to Subotica, a tour of the city, seeing Art Nouveau of the town core, Modern gallery and the Town museum. Dinner in the authentic atmosphere of the Salaš ,tasting traditional specialties and enjoying music. Overnight stay.
Day 4 Breakfast. A ride to Šid , a birth place of the artist Ilija Bašićević Bosilj. Visiting beautiful gallery – a museum of naïve art with the stunning display of paintings. The collection is called Ilijanum, and there you can see this artist’s motifs such as biblical ones, characters from the animal world shown in a specific way, and all of that spiced up with the interesting story by the curator. Visiting Gallery of paintings by Sava Šumanović, one of the most significant Serbian painters from the first half of the 20th century.

A plain for kings and diplomats
Day 1 Arrival in the plain, on the left bank of the Danube, in Backa Palanka, a short break in Tikvara, a park of nature, a tour of the oasis of peace and rest. Visiting Karadjordjevo, a natural reserve, a famous hunting ground of the former Yugoslavian president Josip Broz Tito.Visiting museum of the stud farm that keeps the memory from 1880 when the stud farm for horse breeding was founded. The most displayed objects testify about the time when Josip Broz Tito came here to hunt. Lunch at the villa Grande. A ride to Celarevo, visiting two castles and two parks- a small and the ‘old’ castle Bezeredi also known as the castle of Lazar Dundjerski. A story about the piano, Nikola Tesla and Laza Kostic. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Breakfast. Going to Nestin, a village of good wine. Visiting an orthodox church dedicated to Unmercenary Physicians Kuzma and Damjan, where you can see the miraculous fresco of Holy Mother of God, as well as the iconostasis painted by Teodor Kracun, that is one of the master pieces of baroque iconostasis. This is followed by tasting quality wine and brandy-rakija and appetizer.
A ride to Bac. Visiting the oldest fortress in Vojvodina where you can see its remains, as well as a Franciscan monastery . A ride to Apatin, with a short lunch break in marina. .Moving on towards Backi Monostor, often being called a village on seven rivers of the Danube or the pearl of Upper Danube region. Namely, it is surrounded by water from all sides and you must cross at least one bridge in order to reach it. A natural reserve, hunting ground, domestic food, ethno houses and old crafts. Untouched nature as inspiration. Visiting ethno house in which tradition of Shokci, one of the 25 different ethnic groups, is being preserved. Dinner. Fish stew by the recipes of top cooks. Overnight stay.

Day 3 Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Going to organized tour of the city core in Novi Sad with a licensed guide. Seeing Serbian National Theatre, Miletic square, City hall, The Holy Name of Mary Catholic church , Zmaj Jovina street, that is the most famous pedestrian area with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants, Vladicanski dvor, Saborna crkva, Matica srpska, Dunavska street that leads to Dunvski park. Visiting Petrovaradin fortress. A ride to Sremski Karlovci and along the way visit to Tekije, that is connected to the legend of Snow lady. A tour of Sremski Karlovci- seeing Branko Radicevic square, Four lions fountain, visiting Gymnasium of Karlovci,the oldest Serbian gymnasium from 1791. Also seeing Patriarchy, a church Saborna crkva dedicated to Saint Nicolas. Lunch and tasting famous wines from Karlovci. Return. The end of the program.
