The Reserve house is a Tropical Modern ocean view home in Dolphin Coast, South Africa designed by Metropole Architects.
The 7,000 sq ft. house appears to float over the vegetation overlooking the panoramic beach and sea views. The interior spaces is an eclectic fusion of Mid-Century Modern and Industrial design styles

This beautifully designed modern home in Mosman, Sydney, Australia by Rolf Ockert; Architect. is an exciting piece of architecture yet at the same time feels like a family home.
Built on a steep site on a quiet street, the house is conceived as two pavilions arranged on each side of a central courtyard which brings in light and is a source of ventilation and cooling.
The front pavilion contains bedrooms and amenities. The rear pavilion contains a variety of living spaces. A dramatic double height space in the rear pavilion opens to a large deck, sunken conversation pit and waterfall edge pool

Right from the exploratory and development phase of the project, the first source of inspiration was the St. Lawrence River, the majesty and quiet strength that emanates from it. Then, considering the geographical location and the maritime history attached to the site, the latter a major contributing factor to the development of the city itself, the decision to anchor the project in both its physical environment and its history was taken without question.
