Rehearsing Berg's Seven Early Songs, Strauss' Four Last Songs and Mahler's Symphony no. 4 for our beautiful programme tomorrow with the wonderful Belgrade Philharmonic - the programme Gabriel Feltz had designed for us and that we will now present in his memory.

I am humbled, saddened, thrilled - my upcoming concert programme this week of Berg's Seven Early Songs, Strauss' Four Last Songs and Mahler's Symphony no. 4 (all in one concert!) was what Gabriel Feltz asked me to come and sing with him. I still cannot believe he is gone. And I am honoured beyond words to come to Belgrade this week and sing this programme with his beloved Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, in his memory.

Glorious summer day in Bucarest! I am truly thrilled to be singing the Beethoven Mass in C Major with the legendary maestro, my dearest Lawrence Foster conducting the phenomenal George Enescu Philharmonic at the Atheneum Concert Hall. In bocca al lupo my fantastic colleagues

"Speaking of gem encrusted fabric, soprano Sarah Traubel made a dramatic entrance in a powder blue full length gown just before the final movement. Her presence on stage (heralded by a quasi-fanfare) was dominating as she made eye contact seemingly with every member of the audience. Her voice was clear as an alpine mountain stream as she sang the finale, a child’s view of what heaven must be like. The orchestra fell in step behind her, in awe and admiration of her interpretation. And like all great conductors, Briger was content to follow her lead and keep the orchestra in sync with her. The well-disciplined audience who had shown enormous restraint up till now, unleashed their applause." (Eastside FM Australia)
