Multi-instrumentalist Iztok Koren (Slovenia) and guitarist Raphael Roginski (Poland) will be playing this Friday (April 17) at Fields Inventive Music Festival in Belgrade. Both names are known for their important contributions to the avantgarde folk scene, Iztok Koren with his imaginary folk ensemble Širom and Raphael Roginski with his personalized interpretations of various musical traditions.

One of the most recent mainfestations of Roginski's vision is his project Ružičnjak Tajni, realized with Serbian musicians Marina Džukljev, Svetlana Spajić, and Tijana Stanković, which was chosen as one of the top five European releases of 2025 by Songlines Magazine and the best domestic release of the year by Disco 3000.

Koren and Roginski recently teamed up for the first time for the album 'Nocturnal Consolations' published on Instant Classic and are currently on their release tour. They will be concluding their tour at Fields Festival in Karmakoma Club, April 17 Friday, 18:00.

Tekstopisac, kompozitor i multiinstrumentalista Gabriel Zucker kombinuje maksimalističke kompozicije, intimno pisanje pesama, virtuoznu metričku kompleksnost i progresivnu improvizaciju kreativne muzičke scene Njujorka. Njegova muzika je hvaljena u časopisima DownBeat, All About Jazz, Stereogum, Jazzwise i The New York City Jazz Record. Zucker je nastupao širom Njujorka na mestima kao što su Carnegie Hall, The Stone, Roulette i The Jazz Gallery, kao i u 28 zemalja širom sveta.
Zuckerov najnoviji album, Confession, objavljen je u novembru 2025. za izdavačku kuću Boomslang Records. Rezultat šest godina rada, „Confession“ je duboko ljudska refleksija o tome šta znači zaista upoznati drugu osobu, i na njemu učestvuju neki od najboljih njujorških muzičara. Na svojoj evropskoj turneji, Zucker će izvoditi kompozicije sa albuma „Confession“ i ranijih radova u formi trija, u kojem učestvuje njegov dugogodišnji saradnik, Attila Gyárfás, jedan od najtraženijih free jazz bubnjara u Mađarskoj, kao i Gremijem nagrađeni venecuelansko-američki basista Bam Rodriguez.
Smešten u svetu koji je sam stvorio, negde između free jazza i eksperimentalnog roka nalik bendu Radiohead, Zuckerove kompozicije i nastupi uživo hvaljeni su kao veoma strastveni i direktni, a istovremeno izuzetno tehnički zahtevni, nijansirani i avangardni.

American pianist, maximalist composer, progressive improviser and singer-songwriter .zucker released his magnum opus 'Confession' last year on .records, a product of six years of work recorded with a large cast of musicians from the New York City scene. Zucker's heavily orchestrated work, an uncommon blend of straightforward singer-songwriter delivery, free jazz, and very complex compositions winking at prog rock, will be arranged for a trio formation for the tour, featuring Grammy-winning Venezuelan/American bassist Bam Rodriguez , and his long-time collaborator , one of the most sought-after free jazz drummers of Budapest.
