Get to know our beloved friend and CEO – Đorđe Babić!

Who is he?

Hivemind architect.
Heart of Agile in motion.
A Libra.

With a background in software development, communication, and collaboration, Đorđe provides business and project management consulting services to help organizations transition to agile methodologies.

(He's a 10, but his overcommitment sometimes slows down our buzzing.)

What do we admire about him?

This man has it all – whether a manager, a mentor or a coach. As driven and determined as he may be, we admire his courage to grow beyond his comfort zone, even when expanding his knowledge becomes demanding.
Leading with heart and backbone, passionate about the art of communication, Đorđe is an active listener and an eloquent speaker who communicates with simplicity and guides you to perceive your authenticity.
His relationship-building skills and ability to anticipate and overcome challenges by keeping the big picture in mind make him an inspiring visionary, appreciated by the other bees, partners, and clients.

Đorđe is an altruist who cares about people and sees them as they are and what they could become. He had a vision of a mind & body-safe environment for authenticity that meets individual needs. 🗣Have you ever felt as though you and the person you're talking to aren't on the same page? Break down the wall of assumptions that keeps you from getting the point!

When it comes to communication, misunderstandings are sometimes inevitable. We are all complex ever-changing beings, with a baggage of thousands of metaphors. Thus, it is our nature to bring bias or prejudice into communication. But with all the communication noise, can we truly understand someone in light of our experiences?

One of the ways to reduce interference is to use techniques like Clean Language.

This questioning and discussion technique promotes neutral and objective clarity of the situation and encourages us to engage in communication. By using Clean Language when communicating, we set aside our metaphors, options, or advice and navigate the conversation towards what the speaker is trying to figure out by asking questions derived from the answers received.

Understanding is one of our core values. In order to live up to our authenticity and develop deeper relationships, Hivemind uses Clean Language on a daily basis, regardless whether we are growing a new hive or nurturing an existing one.

Her versatile and efficient buzzing has helped build our hive from scratch while maintaining honey's quality golden level. She's a considerate, understanding, and helpful queen bee, supporting every buzz we make – from learning how to fly to collecting pollen.

(Yes, and this may include taking too much on her plate, and continual shift of priorities.)

What do we admire about her?

Dea is a treasury of knowledge with a specific learning and self-improvement approach. Quick-witted and adept at using new learning experiences, she finds unique ways to make things work and solve problems proactively.

(Yes, and this may include “I don’t want to show it to you until it’s perfect” type of procrastination.)

How does she make an impact?

Dea is an observant, focused, and innovative artist. Storytelling her vivid imagination through photography, she brings forth functionality, clarity, and punctuality – making her art meaningful.

What's the difference between effort, output, outcome and impact?

🐝Effort is the baseline of the work process, the bare minimum required to produce value. Effort represents the "What?" – it is the work we do in order to create something.
We encourage our bees to work hard, and be smart about it, but most of all, keep their eyes on the pollen ahead, the challenges in surroundings and never lose track of our hive.

🐝 The next aspect of our work process is output. Output is the honey of our work. Tasting its sweetness helps us figure out what we have done so far and mark the space for improvement, so we can provide either more honey, or honey of higher value.
In Hivemind, we pay close attention to our hives' and consumers' needs, so asking what and how much we're delivering helps us visualize the results of our effort in providing unique quality.

🐝 Outcome is what we expect to achieve by putting in effort and providing output. It is the part of our work process that allows us to experience the effect our work has made so far in order to achieve the ultimate goal of our efforts.
We are always thrilled to see that our honey makes your tea taste marvelous. This aspect ensures we're on the right track, progressing towards the greater good and bringing value.
