For the first time, BMW Group has introduced a humanoid robot into real production scenarios at its Leipzig plant in Germany 🇩🇪🤖

In this pilot, the AG Series Electric Gripper from DH-Robotics is integrated on AEON, the humanoid robot developed by Hexagon Robotics. The system is currently being tested in battery assembly and component manufacturing processes ⚙️🔋

As part of BMW’s iFACTORY digitalisation strategy, this project marks a concrete step toward deploying Physical AI in real industrial environments 🚀

Reliable, precise, and adaptable end-effectors are essential for humanoid robots to move from demonstration to production.
