The second round of the 2026 Xiaomi CHINA GT Championship GT Championship recently concluded at the Ningbo International Circuit, marking a high-octane weekend of motorsport action.
Event Overview: Round 2 at Ningbo
The Ningbo International Circuit, designed by Alan Wilson and known for its 22 challenging turns and significant 24-meter elevation changes, provided a rigorous test for both drivers and vehicles. With temperatures soaring above 35°C, the weekend demanded peak physical endurance and strategic precision from
all 40 entries across the GT3, GTC, and GTS classes.
Key Highlights:
•Xiaomi Partnership: The 2026 season represents a rebranded era as the "Xiaomi CHINA GT Championship GT Championship." Xiaomi has taken on the title sponsorship, with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra serving as the official safety car and the Xiaomi YU7 Max acting as the official medical vehicle.
•The Grid: The round saw 80 drivers competing in a field of 40 cars, navigating the technical complexities of the Beilin District track.
•Atmosphere: The event included a formal opening ceremony featuring CAMP Leaders with Mr. Davide de Gobbi Topspeed organizers, Series Sponsors representatives, and GT manufacturing partners.

With the Ningbo round now in the books, the series is preparing for its next challenge. The championship will continue at the
Zhuhai International Circuit from
