This 12-day-11-night sea trial achieved 100% completion of all comprehensive tests on various safety management equipment, together with calibration and verification of all technical parameters to fully verify navigation safety, passenger comfort and operational reliability.

On May 27, Adora Flora City, the second made-in-China large cruise ship built by CSSC, completed all test items and safely berthed at the dock, marking a full success of its sea trial voyage.

Unlike the first Adora Magic City with two 14-day sea trials, Adora Floral City aims to complete all trials in one 12-day session. Technical teams will test navigation, power systems, safety emergency responses, and verify key indicators such as vibration, noise and speed.

On May 16, CSSC-built second domestic large cruise ship Adora Floral City started its 12-day sea trials. After delivery on November 6, nearly two months ahead of plan, it will start maiden voyage season from Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port, calling at Hong Kong, China and Hue, Vietnam.

Recently, CSSC delivered the CPGC/CMD‑WinGD 9X92DF‑M‑1.0‑LPSCR methanol dual‑fuel low‑speed engine and the CPGC‑WinGD 6X62‑1.1‑HPSCR main engine, marking a new level of China’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities in methanol dual‑fuel and dual‑fuel‑ready design technology. The CPGC/CMD-WinGD 9X92DF-M-1.0-LPSCR methanol dual-fuel low-speed engine adopts a common rail methanol fuel supply system, with corrosion-resistant enhanced sealing materials and the nitrogen oxide emission in compliance with the IMO strictest standards.Compliant with Tier III emission limits, the CPGC-WinGD 6X62-1.1-HPSCR is equipped with a SCR exhaust gas treatment system featuring a second-fuel-ready design to offer enhanced compatibility for future retrofitting and upgrades.

This ship flexibly accommodates new energy vehicles and adopts LNG/fuel oil dual-fuel power, cutting carbon emissions by 30%. It is also equipped with provisions for ammonia and methanol fuels.
