From June 10 to 12, the 2026 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements, themed "Zero-Carbon Transformation, Empowered by Key Factors", kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Covering an 800-square-meter exhibition area, State Grid showcased multiple innovative achievements, including an interactive virtual power plant sand table, a comprehensive power cable carbon footprint demonstration sand table, and classroom-temperature & normal-pressure solid-state hydrogen-energy emergency power supply equipment. These exhibits fully demonstrate State Grid’s low-carbon practices in demand-side dispatch, precise carbon footprint accounting, and zero-carbon emergency power supply.

From June 8 to 9, the Symposium on Power System Resilience, hosted by State Grid Corporation of China, was held in Hangzhou. Over 100 participants attended the event, including government representatives from 15 APEC economies, heads of international organizations, senior executives of power enterprises, and experts and scholars. Focusing on core topics such as power grid security challenges amid extreme weather and high pe*******on of renewable energy, participants exchanged cutting-edge technologies and practical approaches in power system resilience, contributing to the development of a secure, resilient, and sustainable energy system in the Asia-Pacific region.

On May 28 (Brazil time), the fifth session of the "Global Link for Youth Actions" series, hosted by the All-China Youth Federation and organized by China Youth Daily, was held at the Wisdom Library in Lingang, Shanghai. Over 60 youth representatives from 32 countries including China, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Spain attended the event. Invited to participate, State Grid Brazil Holding (SGBH) shared its Mare Youth Symphony Orchestra social welfare project via video during the "virtual enterprise tour". Pedro Torres, an employee of the company, introduced State Grid’s UHV transmission projects and social responsibility practices in Brazil online. He noted that SGBH, established in 2010 as State Grid Corporation of China’s first wholly-owned overseas transmission asset platform, has grown into one of Brazil’s major transmission utilities. The Belo Monte UHVDC Transmission Project, in which the company participated, transmits clean hydropower from the Amazon region in northern Brazil to load centers in the southeast, delivering over 200 billion kWh of clean electricity cumulatively. Pedro also mentioned that the company has won Brazil’s largest-ever transmission concession project by investment scale, which is expected to create more than 30,000 jobs and support Brazil’s renewable energy integration and clean energy transition.

Recently, Chinese and foreign journalists covering the 2026 APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting visited the Pingjiang Road Historical and Cultural Block in Suzhou and the Carbon Inclusive Service Center of State Grid Suzhou Power Supply Company. They learned about State Grid’s ancient city preservation initiatives, including burying overhead power lines and beautifying power facilities, as well as how State Grid drives local green and low-carbon economic transition through the carbon inclusive green development mechanism.

The 2026 World Intelligence Expo was held from May 28 to 31 at the National Convention & Exhibition Center (Tianjin), covering an exhibition area of 130,000 m2 with over 700 enterprises expected to participate. To guarantee safe and reliable power supply during the Expo, State Grid Tianjin Electric Power made early deployments and leveraged technological empowerment. Driven by intelligent inspection equipment and green power trading, the company built a solid power security barrier for this grand intelligent tech event.

During the preparation phase for the 2026 World Intelligence Expo, relying on Tianjin Green Power Certificate Service Team, Tianjin Electric Power Trading Center provided full-process exclusive green power services for the event organizer, enabling 100% renewable energy consumption throughout the Expo.
