In this case, many condemned without asking: what really happened behind the scenes? Were all responsibilities truly one-sided?

Reports now suggest Yeri Benz had underlying health challenges even before entering the house. Medical screenings were conducted, professionals were present, and systems were in place—but like many structured platforms, they relied on disclosure as much as detection.

There’s a proverb that says, “The child who carries the elephant on his head should not forget his own neck.”
It means when you carry burdens that are too heavy especially for others you risk breaking yourself in the process. Askia carried loyalty like an elephant… but who checked if her neck could handle it?

Note, When two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.
In this situation, industry power struggles and silent conflicts may exist, but the one feeling the pain openly is Askia. The “grass” is always the one without the loudest voice.

And perhaps a person who sacrifices everything for others may wake up with nothing left for themselves.”

Before pointing fingers at Biggy Studios over the deaths of Yeri Benze and Fhish, let’s first ask ourselves a simple question: what truly caused the deaths of other Cameroonian comedians we’ve lost over time? Were they ever anywhere near Biggy Studios?

When a drum beats in the night, the child who knows the story understands the rhythm. This means not every noise deserves panic or false interpretation. In this case, not every tragedy should be tied to a convenient scapegoat without facts.

Note, He who fetches water with a basket should not blame the river. If we understand this well, we’ll realize that blaming Biggy Studios without evidence is like blaming the river for our own poor choice of basket. Reports already indicate that Fhish died from reckless driving, while Yeri Benze battled a protracted illness even before entering the Biggy mansion. These are painful realities, but they are not mysteries.

Jumping to conclusions only exposes a deeper issue in our society the urge to accuse before we understand. That is how reputations are destroyed and truth is buried.

Let the dead rest. Let truth speak. Let wisdom guide us.

When people start fighting the very thing meant to help them, then the problem is not darkness it is mindset.

A big solar plant is being built in Ngashie Oku under the Cameroon Rural Electrification Programme something many communities wish for. But instead of protecting it, some people have kidnapped the technicians and are demanding money. Ndone!

Let’s think about it. The council works for years, elites push for support, and the government finally brings the project. Then in a short moment, the same community tries to destroy it. Who really loses?

Note, “The child who burns down his father’s house will sleep outside.” This means when you destroy what is meant to help you, you only hurt yourself. Oku is the one losing here no light, no progress, no opportunities.

Another proverb says, "When the drumbeat changes, the dancer must adjust.” The world is moving forward with development and clean energy. Solar power is important now. Why choose to block it?

The technicians are not the ones funding this project. They are just workers trying to help. Kidnapping them will not bring development it will only drive it away.

So tell me when people destroy what is meant to help them, who is truly their biggest enemy?
