Good music is always worth promoting. Here is another artist who goes by the name of Danii, a very good Afropop artist who not only sings but also is a very good songwriter. He started off as a rapper but later switched to Afropop on the advice of Mr. Bridge, the CEO of FINGERPRINT MUSIC, one of the most prominent recording studios in Limbe. Under fingerprint music, he was well molded and directed. He has recorded a good number of songs produced by Mr. Bridge and deejay Kef and has also performed in many shows and events. He caught the attention of BP Records and Akwandor Empire who decided to come together and sign him. He has been working hard ever since and here is the result. The song, a lyric video titled MY LUV is a love song that depicts promises of love and protection. It was produced by Akwandor himself. Reggae Music is one of the genres of music which is not fully exploited in Cameroon. But here is someone who has proven beyond reasonable doubt that reggea music is his calling. Very talented,hard working and a good leader. He goes by the name of Emperor Bantu Freeman who is not just a musical artist but also the CEO of Da Nzimbistic Cultural Centre where you can get rustic arts, recycling , interior African decorations and African beaded jewelry. He has been into reggae music for a very long time and this can be seen in his just released video track titled The Egyptian you see today( Exodus 14:13). In this track he talks about betrayal by friends and family, how people back stab others. He drew references from the story of the Israelites and pharaoh and also from that of David and Goliath. His ingenuity can be seen through the richness of his lyrical content and the message he's trying to pass across. Indeed he is currently the best Reggae artist Cameroon has. The video was directed by Diba J Blerk, the brain behind Matilda's heart mender video, and a host of others and the beat perfectly constructed by one of the best limbe based producers, Mr Bridge. To commemorate the video release, he organised a party which took place at Manjong snack Bar, located at Church street, Limbe. This event was graced by the likes of Vaj, the current winner of the Muzig star competition held every year in Cameroon, Matilda, Snazzy lion, Gordon, Gima , Dbn, Danny, and a host of many other artists ,not forgetting the Limbe film community, Starlight Entertainment and Cocowels modelling agency who came to support him.
