WHAT IS A WINESKIN?

wineskin was full of shadows and types and had many symbols of things to come. That oldbe wasted and there would be nothing left. There needed to be a new wineskin which was fresh and what that new wineskin is like.
something new with His people. There is new wine, God moves in new ways and in that sense the old wineskin knowing it would never be suitable, and introduced something quite different Spirit on the Day of Pentecost could never be contained by that kind of wineskin. The wine would wine expands in size and can break a brittle old wineskin, losing the wine. Jesus was of course less

This is a wineskin that can contain what God is wanting to do, whereas a traditional Jesus initiated it Himself when he said “A new commandment I give you, that you must love one pliable, and that was the Church. “the heart.” It is something made and joined by proper relationships between people, relationships, So what we are saying is that God wants to dwell among a people, and these people are a people of the Holy Spirit. In one sense, the wineskin is God's people and in each generation God does concerned with wine than with spiritual realities he was trying to explain. which would hold the wine He knew was coming. wineskin suitable for that purpose and we will describe in more detail in the next section exactly there is always a new wineskin for every new thing God does. The Key to Having God’s Anointing Released on Your Life

It’s time for believers to march forward in deliverance and victory!

God wants to transform you spiritually, emotionally, and physically!

Your mind is the seed plot of your life, the ground in which the seed is sown.

This week I’ve been teaching on “Secrets that Intensify the Power of God in Your Life!” The desire of my heart is for this message to impact your life forever.

As I’ve taught on this subject, memories from my childhood come to mind. When I was a child growing up in Israel, the winds blowing from the south would bring dust throughout my hometown of Jaffa. Dreariness would come with all the silt sifting through the air.

But when the winds begin blowing down from the country of Lebanon, 140 miles to the north, you would wake up smelling the aromatic cedars. Freshness filled the air. You would walk outside and see the crispness in the sunshine all around you. I grew up being acutely aware of the changes in the atmosphere and the growing intensity of His anointing that can literally happen overnight.

We are now also going through an atmospheric shift. What we do now will dramatically impact the future, especially as we step into the supernatural connection that makes all the difference in the world!

The cedars of Lebanon are mentioned 103 times in the Bible. They were called “the trees of the Lord” (Psalm104:16, NRSV). Cedars were used in Tabernacle offerings (Numbers 19:6).

And in Isaiah 35:1-2, we are told about “the glory of Lebanon.” This refers to changes in the atmosphere that happen during rain, growth, fresh winds, and clear skies when “waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water” (Isaiah 35:6-7, ESV).

This passage of Scripture describes healings, the removal of evil, and “a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness” (Isaiah 35:8, ESV). Moreover, “everlasting joy.

What Is the Anointing of the Holy Spirit?
What Are the Purposes, Power & Benefits of the Anointing?

Summary: What is the anointing of the Holy Spirit? What's the purpose of that Holy Spirit anointing? its importance? What does it do in your life? Answer: It empowers Spirit-filled believers for multiple, powerful ministries.

1 Samuel 16:12-13 So he sent and had [David] brought in. He was ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him; he is the one.” [13] So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power.

•• In the Old Testament and the New Testament alike, the anointing spoke of a special action and empowerment by the Holy Spirit. •• The future king David was anointed with oil by God's prophet. That was the outward expression. But what happened inwardly was far more important. The power of the Holy Spirit came upon him to equip him for the future God had for him.• So the question concerning the Holy Spirit’s anointing arises: anointed for what? Why does God anoint us and empower us with His Holy Spirit?

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, [22] set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

•• First, let it be established that God anoints His people. “He anointed us” — King David, the apostle Paul, you, me, and millions more from then to now receive this Holy Ghost anointing from God and by God.• Let's investigate: for what purpose does He confer upon us this spiritual anointing, this "unction" of His Holy Spirit? To respectfully use a play on words, what is the function of the unction, of the anointing of the Spirit?

Acts 1:5,8 ...in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit... [8] you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses

THE ANOINTING
1 JOHN 2:20-27
INTRODUCTION
The Anointing is the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. It enables the believer to understand, apply, and administer spiritual truth. Simply put, the presence of The Anointing enables believers to have a spiritual connection. The Holy Spirit indwells us and allows us to connect to the spiritual realm so that we can receive and understand spiritual data as it is transferred from heaven to earth. The spiritual receptivity that comes as a result of The Anointing allows us to maintain fellowship with God because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Anointing allows us to discern truth from error. It is a detector that allows us to know right from wrong. The book of 1 John was addressed to Christians in danger of being susceptible to wrong information from false teachers. John wanted believers to know that they had The Anointing because of the presence of the Holy Spirit. While The Anointing may not be fully operating or fully utilized, he wanted believers to understand that they still possessed The Anointing provided by the Spirit of God. The presence of the Holy Spirit cancels the need for adopting a secular, non-Christian worldview that leaves God out as the beginning of all wisdom. The Anointing gives us everything we need to progress through life and gives access to God’s divine wisdom. Wisdom starts with the fear of God. The presence of the Holy Spirit is the always-on-and-available connection to God that we need for living. The Anointing also equips us for Christian service because it enables us to minster to others. Just like prophets, priests and kings were anointed in the Old Testament to serve God’s purposes in history, the anointing provided by the Holy Spirit gives believers the ability to do what we were created to do for His glory.

The Anointing requires intimate fellowship with God through the practice of abiding. In order to pick up the signals available in the spiritual realm.

OBEDIENCE AND LOVE
“(Now this is love: that we walk according to his commandments.) This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning; thus you should walk in it.” – 2 John 6

This is one of the most interesting and captivating aspect of Scripture to me; it’s simple and clear. Any child of God or person who wants to know God only has to pick up the Bible and ask God to show them His way.

It has never been God’s intention for His children to “struggle” or “strive” endlessly and painfully to know Him, to know what He desires for us, or to have a relationship with Him. This is all carefully and succinctly outlined in Scripture for anyone to glean. And Scripture tells us that to love this awesome and magnificent God all we have to do is obey. 2 John 6 is telling us if we claim to know God and want to truly love Him, then the way to love God is to obey Him.

Obedience is love. That is God’s formula. The evidence of my love for Him is my obedience to Him.

This means obeying Him when it is easy, when it is hard, when we do not understand, and when we do. Total, complete, prompt obedience.

I know first hand what it means and how it feels to obey God when we do not understand, when it is excruciatingly hard. I have come to understand and enjoy that, with each act of obedience, my relationship and fellowship with God deepens and it makes hardship more than worth it. The world will know you are truly His child and that you love Him when they see you daily obeying God’s Word.

Dear Father, thank You for the gift of Your word which keeps me in line with Your purposes for my life. Today, I ask for the grace to always obey You. No matter the situation or circumstances, I want to always do Your will, so please help me, in Jesus name. Amen.

GOSSIP
The Hebrew word translated “gossip” in the Old Testament is defined as “one who reveals secrets, one who goes about as a talebearer or scandal-monger.” A gossiper is a person who has privileged information about people and proceeds to reveal that information to those who have no business knowing it. Gossip is distinguished from sharing information in two ways:

1. Intent. Gossipers often have the goal of building themselves up by making others look bad and exalting themselves as some kind of repositories of knowledge.

2. The type of information shared. Gossipers speak of the faults and failings of others, or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details regarding the lives of others without their knowledge or approval. Even if they mean no harm, it is still gossip.

In the book of Romans, Paul reveals the sinful nature and lawlessness of mankind, stating how God poured out His wrath on those who rejected His laws. Because they had turned away from God’s instruction and guidance, He gave them over to their sinful natures. The list of sins includes gossips and slanderers (Romans 1:29b-32). We see from this passage how serious the sin of gossip is and that it characterizes those who are under God’s wrath.

Another group who were (and still are today) known for indulging in gossip is widows. Paul cautions widows against entertaining the habit of gossip and of being idle. These women are described as “gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to” (1 Timothy 5:12-13). Because women tend to spend a lot of time in each other’s homes and work closely with other women, they hear and observe situations which can become distorted, especially when repeated over and over. Paul states that widows get into the habit of going from home to home, looking for something to occupy their idleness. Idle hands are the devil’s workshop, and God cautions against allowing idleness to enter our lives. “A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man [or woman]..

Exodus 33:7-11

Moses’ Intimacy with God. 7 Moses used to pitch a tent outside the camp at some distance. It was called the tent of meeting. Anyone who wished to consult the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp. 8 Whenever Moses went out to the tent, the people would all rise and stand at the entrance of their own tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. 9 As Moses entered the tent, the column of cloud would come down and stand at its entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 On seeing the column of cloud stand at the entrance of the tent, all the people would rise and bow down at the entrance of their own tents. 11 The Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a person speaks to a friend. Moses would then return to the camp, but his young assistant, Joshua, son of Nun, never left the tent.

Spiritual fathers release an impartation into your life.

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6

So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. 1 Thessalonians 2:8

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Romans 1:11-12

Impartation can often be misunderstood, but its one of the greatest effects a father has on people. His life leaves a mark so deeply in people’s lives that they often replicate certain views, ways of living and even spiritual giftings. By simply being around them, you pick up who they are. You pick up how they interact, the decisions they make and how they handle people. Sometimes you can identify who someone’s spiritual father is by just listening to them talk. They deposit who they are and walk up who you are.

SPIRITUAL FATHERS BRING A SPIRITUAL COVERING AND PROTECTION.

One of the greatest benefits of being around a spiritual father is they help provide sanity and sound thinking by what they share, demonstrate and advise. At the end of the day, you know they have your back, so this empowers you in your own growth and ministry.

They often battle many things that you don’t have to battle, so we can learn from their trials. We’ll have to face our own trials, but we become encourage to walk through them with greater confidence.

Spiritual fathers help you gain empowerment to work in your sphere of influence. Their covering provides, wisdom, interaction and healthy warnings. As Paul said, I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. (1 Corinthians 4:14)

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4
